About Us

Hong Kong Funeral Services is an independent funeral home dedicated to serving the community with the highest level of care and respect. We are the UK’s only funeral home, which can provide a Western and traditional Chinese service, while our knowledge and expertise allows us to give advice on aspects of traditional Chinese funeral arrangements. We can also provide funeral arrangements for any religion, including: Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism, and for non-religious Humanist funeral services. Throughout this delicate time where many decisions will have to be made, we are here to support and guide you through every step of the way, with care, compassion and professionalism. You can be reassured that we endeavour to help you create a personal and peaceful ceremony for your loved one. We offer a 24 hour personal service, 7 days a week, should you need any advice and support to help you through this difficult time. Our services are customised to meet the individual wishes of each family because each family’s circumstance is unique; we vow to treat every client with absolute respect and integrity. Our funeral home contains a chapel, which can accommodate up to 50 guests seated. This allows families and friend to say farewell to their loved one in a more private setting. We can invite religious ministers to conduct the funeral or to perform their respective blessing rituals upon the family’s request. Arranging the Funeral

There are many decisions to be made in arranging a funeral, and every funeral is unique to the family’s wishes. It is our duty and earnest desire to assist you in the planning of the funeral for your loved one to ease your worries as much as we are able to through this difficult time. Visiting the Chapel of Rest

The chapel within our funeral home is available for you to visit during our working hours by making an appointment with us. Religious or Non-Religious

We are able to invite ministers of any religion to conduct the funeral or to perform their respective religious rituals upon the family’s request. If a Humanist funeral is chosen, we have a Funeral Director, who can conduct a non-religious service should this be your choice. Our Promise

Such sad news this evening. Our nation is mourning 😭

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.

Rest In peace, and rise in glory. Our prayers are with our Royal family.

Dear Vinitta and the rest of the HKFS team,

We wanted to send our most heartfelt gratitude for organising such a beautiful funeral for our beloved Dad on 25/3/2022.

From that first phone call, you put us completely at ease at such a horrible time. I know it was such a comfort to my Mum to be able to speak to you in Cantonese, and for you to gently and patiently guide us through all the necessary preparations, traditions and rituals.

Like you said on the phone to Mum this morning, it feels like fate that we found you. I can't even remember what search terms I used, but I am so grateful that your company came up. From the prayers at the funeral home, to the Buddhist blessing ceremony at home, to the burning of papercrafts by Dad's grave, we couldn't have asked for a more dignified and honoured send off. I am sure Dad is enjoying his massive orange sports car in the afterlife.

The service that you and HKFS provide is a true asset and blessing to the Chinese community in the UK and we would like to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work.

This absolutely beautiful bunch of flowers was from a lovely guest attending a funeral who doesn't understand or speak Cantonese and we translated and explained it all to him in English. He felt so looked after that he came to surprise us with these lovely arrangements.
