Often struggles at school are caused by retained primitive reflexes and a programme of specific daily exercises can have a massive positive impact on self esteem, engagement, focus, behaviour and learning.

If your child is struggling and interventions and small group work aren’t working, we could hold the solution!

We offer a free initial telephone consultation with you to see what we can do to help your child reach their full potential. Give us a call on 0161 526 8558.

Love it when this is the response we get from a child coming to one of our assessments. It’s so important to make them feel comfortable and happy in the environment and I think we nailed it with this one!

We know that sending your child off to ‘big school’ can be an emotional time for parents and we want to equip parents with the security of knowing they have done everything to prepare their child ahead of time.
In this workshop we look at the things schools want children to be able to do before they start. As an experienced primary school teacher, Olivia shares her knowledge of the Early Year Expectations, but also of the little tips and tricks that make things easier for your child and for their teacher.
We then move on to looking at brain development and developmental milestones that your child needs to reach to be able to fully access learning in a school environment. It is by ensuring that these key abilities are secure that we can give our children the best possible chance of success at school.
Throughout the session we will show you some simple activities you can do at home to help your child prepare both emotionally and developmentally for this big step in their educational journey.

As a parent it is so easy to get caught up in the behaviour that sometimes we forget to look deeper into the reason for the behaviour and the unmet need. Meeting the need strengthens the bond between parent and child and teaches the child how to better regulate themselves.

Seek to understand what your child's behaviour is trying to communicate and the frustration levels decrease, the empathy increases and your child feels heard.

Connection before correction.

It is always so lovely to receive such positive feedback from our clients. Parents see such progress and change in their children through working with us. This is why we do what we do. These are the reasons. Each and every child we help makes us feel excited all over again and fires us up to share our knowledge with more and more people.

I need to remind myself and colleagues of this today. It’s a day where we would have said in the past, ‘There’s something in the water,’ but knowing so much more about their little brains makes me pause, remind myself that they are not choosing these behaviours, take a deep breath and respond with empathy.
