The Yoga Rooms http://www.theyogarooms.co.uk We provide a high standard of teaching and a range of classes to suit everyone in Chorlton and the city centre.

We offer yoga and pilates classes at progressive levels in order that students feel they can continue to develop their practice. So, whatever your level of experience - whether you already have a well-established practice or you're a complete beginner - there'll be a class to suit you. Please have a browse through our timetable and teachers to see what best matches your needs. Classes include: Dynamic Yoga, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates.

Meet Laura

Join Laura on Monday’s 9-10am or on Fridays 7.30-8.30am for her Somatic Yoga classes!

Laura believes that Yoga is about finding the space you need to grow, move, heal and grow again.

Laura has been a student of yoga since 2004, and her practise has taken her on many journeys, all of which have offered nurture and escapism on her life’s path. They have always shown up at the right time and supported her when and where she has needed them most. Yoga is intuitive. Yoga is being held and then landing in a space which feels comforting yet expansive.

Sinead’s class is designed to help you move with more intention, awareness and compassion. This class embraces mindful movement to foster harmony between the mind, body and breath.

Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners 5 - 6.30pm
8 week course starts on Sunday 13th March

These courses are suitable for beginners or for those who are coming back to a Yoga practice after a break.

Students will be introduced to basic postures, breathing practices, and relaxation techniques. These elements will gradually be combined and built into flowing sequences to improve strength, develop flexibility and bring calm to the mind. Each session ends with a relaxation.

Big thanks to our wonderful teachers too…They are so dedicated to their Yoga and Pilates journeys. They love sharing their practice with you & we love working with them! We feel very lucky to have such an amazing team of teachers.

Nature teaches us that winter is the time of year to slow down and conserve energy; most mammals hunker down into hibernation or slow their movements to a minimum, but not humans.

The winter months can feel more challenging as our pace of life is affected by changes in temperature, light and landscape; and whether you embrace it or escape it, Christmas can be overwhelming for many.

This month’s restorative yoga workshop focus is on exploring a sense of calm for the body and mind, through a blend of floor-based postures and Yoga Nidra.

💫 Learn to fly, defy gravity and trust in your ability to hold yourself!

Join Liddy for a dynamic and fun afternoon of playing with balancing on your hands and turning your world upside down.

You will be lead through an engaging & dynamic vinyasa flow to prepare the body for the practice of various arm balances and inversions.

We will then look at each posture in detail, using props and partner work to help to support the accessing of these poses and get you to where you want to go. Up, up, up and away!
