Sue passed away peacefully on 18th February 2026, surrounded by her loving family, aged 64 years. Much loved and devoted Mum of Michael, Anthony, Craig and Kirsty. Dear Mother-in-Law, and a treasured Nana of Lauren, Shauney, Quinton, Remy, Dailen, Junior and Daisen. Precious Great Nana of Oliver and Relayea, and loving Sister of Ann, Lee, John and Lesley. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Lawrence, of Ancoats, passed away in hospital on 12th February 2026, aged 83 years. Lawrence, the loving and devoted Husband of Vera. A caring and precious Dad to Jackie, Brian, Thomas and Julie. A dearly loved and cherished Grandad of Jess, Hollie, Tom, Jaden, Lacie, Keaton, Peter, Jack, Louie, Chelsea and Zak. A loved Great Grandad of Daisy, Lenny, Jasper, Mabel-Rose, Albie and Cruz. Also a dearly loved father-in-law to Peter, Jay and Jane. A much loved Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle, who will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

On Monday 23rd March, Lol will pass the family home on Bollington Road, Miles Platting at approximately 12pm, as we proceed to St Cuthbert's Parish Church, Oldham Road, Miles Platting, for a service at 12.15pm, followed by interment at Philips Park Cemetery. The family would like to invite you to the wake afterwards at Billy's Bar (Home Guard Club), Poplar Street, Failsworth M35 0HY.
PLEASE NOTE: Donations preferred to the Donkey Sanctuary. Could attending mourners please bring a single red rose ONLY, to place into the grave as your final gesture of farewell. Lee passed away in hospital on 2nd February 2026, aged 65 years. A loving and treasured son of the late John and Florence (Flo), now reunited. The cherished a dearly loved Brother to Sharon, Kevin, Donna, Paul and the late John, and Anthony RIP. A much Loved Brother-in-law to Jim, Mary, Dean, Ria and Diane. Also a dear Nephew, Cousin, and Uncle, who will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and many friends.

It is now 12 years since our owner, Michael Kennedy, first opened the doors of Greater Manchester Funeral Service on Moston Lane, on the site of the old Co-operative store. The area may change throughout the years, but the local community spirit remains.

Over the past 12 years we have been entrusted by many families from the Manchester area, and from across the country, to look after them during their most difficult moments.

We are proud to be here to serve our local community, and are so grateful for all your help and support. From Michael and our team, we would like to say a huge thank you, we couldn't do it without you.

John sadly passed away at home in Moston on 30th January, surrounded and comforted by his loving family. Loved and devoted Husband of Pauline. A caring and adored Dad to Paul, Michael and Sarah. A much loved and treasured Grandad to Lauren and Millie, also the loved Great Grandad of Alexander and Polly. Loved Father-in-law to Angela, John and the late Gemma. Angela, of Blackley, has sadly passed away in hospital on February 6th, aged 68 years. The Loving and devoted Mum to Bernard, Terry, Amy and Darren. A dearly loved Sister to Jean, Anthony and the late James and Thomas. A caring and adored Nana of Logan, Ruby, Bella and Carter, and also a dearly loved Auntie to Lenny, Michelle, and the late Darren, who will be deeply missed. Angela is now reunited with her late Mum Norah and Husband Terence. May she now have eternal peace.
