Had a verruca for months...maybe even years? 🦢

The good news is that stubborn doesn't usually mean permanent.

I've worked with patients to clear verrucae in as little as six weeks, even persistent adult verrucae. I've seen all sorts of recovery variations over the years πŸ’™

Here's something worth knowing before you book with any foot health practitioner.

Professional registration matters βœ…

I'm registered with the Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners, which means I'm obliged to keep my knowledge and practice up to date as a professional requirement.

For you, that means every appointment is backed by current, evidence-based care, and a practitioner who takes her responsibility to you seriously πŸ’™

It's not something I shout about often, but it's something I think you deserve to know. Your feet are in safe hands. πŸ™‚

πŸ‘£ Last month, I spoke in front of a room of health professionals and spoke about feet.

I loved every minute of it.

I was invited to present at Oakfield Croft Care Home in Sale to the Collaborative Care Network Group, sharing some straightforward advice about foot care and why looking after your feet matters.

πŸ’ The best part wasn't even the presenting, it was the conversations and questions afterwards. Brainstorming with healthcare colleagues always sets off light bulb moments.

Getting out into the wonderful community and having those conversations in person is essential for my work and professional development πŸ’™

These kinds of events are now a regular part of my diary, and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

➑️ If you're part of a local group and think your members would enjoy a friendly chat about foot health, feel free to get in touch.

Your feet carry you through every single day. So why are they the last thing we take care of?

🌍 It's , and this year's theme is "Together for Health. Stand with Science." So I did some research...

Did you know that around 1 in 5 people in the UK over 50 live with foot pain, and around 1 in 10 describe it as disabling.

That's a significant number of people living in pain, and yet many never visit a GP or foot health specialist to make it better.

But it's not just about the feet. Foot pain affects balance, mobility, independence, and quality of life. Left untreated, it quietly takes things away from you.

Today I want to remind everyone that your health matters, including taking care of your feet πŸ’™

If you're not sure where to start or have been putting off getting the help you need, feel free to get in touch. I'd love to help πŸ™‚

If you've watched my previous video, you've seen me talk about metatarsalgia.

Today, I want to get a little more personal.

πŸ‘£ Because I've been there, and I reached a point where the pain in my feet was affecting everything. I started worrying about what I'd even be able to do anymore, and pushing aside activities I loved.

If that sounds familiar, I want you to know that I understand it. Not just as a practitioner, but as a person who has lived it.

Which is exactly why I take metatarsalgia so seriously in my practice. There are things we can do that make a great difference to how you feel and what you can get back to doing πŸ’™

You shouldn't have to keep shrinking your life around the pain.

➑️ If your feet are holding you back, let's talk. Book an appointment today via my website.

You've done nothing wrong, and your feet aren't a mess. You're human.

πŸ‘£ I often see patients who come in almost apologising for having tried to sort their foot care out themselves first. There is no reason to apologise!

Most of the time, what you've been doing at home is actually really sensible. Maybe you've been soaking your feet, using a pumice stone, or trying something from the chemist. There's no harm in any of these foot care methods.

Sometimes, things need a little more attention, which is exactly what I'm here for. I'll provide calm, gentle care, picking up right where you left off πŸ’™

No matter what's going on with your feet, I promise you, there's nothing I haven't seen before πŸ™‚

I've realised that networking is not really about collecting business cards.

πŸ’¬ It's about learning and connecting with people in the business community.

Recently, I've had the pleasure of attending brilliant events right here in Altrincham, surrounded by inspirational local business owners. Every conversation teaches me something new.

Networking means expanding my knowledge to bring greater value to my work πŸ‘£

πŸ’™ When I grow, you benefit. Better knowledge, broader thinking and a practitioner who's always looking for ways to bring more to your care.

I'm so proud to be part of this lively Altrincham community. If you're local and you've spotted me at an event, come and say hello next time πŸ™‚

I was at Liverpool Exhibition Centre on Tuesday for the annual Foot and Ankle Show πŸ‘£

This event is the place to be for practitioners in the foot and ankle health industry, and after such a great experience last year I had to come again.

These events are all so valuable to my continued development and very enjoyable. It’s all about keeping the population healthy and active foot-wise.

I had a fantastic day, and it was great to get out of the clinic for a moment and be surrounded by so many other industry professionals πŸ’™

Thanks to The Foot & Ankle Show for such a brilliant event, see you next year! 😊

Come and discover my magic couch at your next Footrespect appointment πŸ’™

I have a magic couch, I do,
It comforts, soothes and heals,
So bring your feet to my retreat,
And settle all your feels πŸ™‚

Many of my patients arrive stressed and rushed from their busy day, and within minutes, they're completely relaxed. A few have even drifted off to sleep, and I take that as the biggest compliment!

My clinic is your quiet escape. No rushing, no noise, just you, your feet, and a relaxing experience in safe, caring hands.

If you're coming in for a treatment or maybe a soothing foot massage, you'll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and healed.

➑️ Your retreat is waiting. Book your appointment and come and feel the magic for yourself!

Your feet deserve a partner, not just a practitioner πŸ’™

Whatever state your feet are in and whatever your health challenges, I'm here cheering you on every step of the way.

The best part about being a foot health practitioner is watching people achieve things in their foot care that they didn't think were possible. Goals look wonderfully different for everyone:

πŸ‘£ Getting back to running or long walks pain-free
πŸ‘£ Managing diabetes safely with healthy, happy feet
πŸ‘£ Something beautifully simple like warm, cosy feet in bed at night

No goal is too big or too small. Every single improvement matters and makes a real difference to how you feel and live each day.

Let's work together and make it happen πŸ™‚

➑️ Get started in your foot care journey now by booking an appointment with me.

Even foot health professionals like me can suffer from different conditions. Today, I'm talking about metatarsalgia πŸ‘£

That burning, aching sensation in the ball of your foot when you walk or stand isn't something you just have to live with. Understanding what's causing it is the first step to getting relief.

Whatever your age and lifestyle, if you have noticed this type of discomfort, professional treatment can make all the difference.

πŸ“Ή Watch to learn more about this common condition and discover how we can get you walking comfortably again.

If you'd like to hear more about my experience with metatarsalgia, let me know, and I'd be happy to share another video πŸ’™
