✨ Today, walking the stones at Avebury with a magical friend, I received the guidance to let in the light. To let it come through, more than ever.✨

✨Even and especially while I feel I’m being dismantled and remade.

✨Even when it’s hard and my egos screaming with loss.

And so, here I relay the message to you Dear One:

The news may be made of pain - and so - more than ever - soften into your heart.

Exhale slow.

✨ Open your bright beautiful eyes and walk with faith.

We’re called to orientate to the light

right now

because we’re rebirthing our world.

After millennia of fear.

Open to what you know.

✨ Ingenuity, vision, capacity, strength.

Trust this. Trust yourself.

Turn off the tv and feel your gut.

Hands on your heart

Remember your roots

What turns you on

And ignites your light.

Running from what you feel takes so much effort, and I was reminded of that by a very wise therapist this week. ‘Feeling feelings’ might be what I support others to do for a living - but old habits run deep and I was a numb-er from a young age; always keeping busy, always moving, never feeling what was in my roots.

We all have ways to avoid emotion; alcohol, working, screens, whatever.

And that has its place.

Sometime zoning out is the kindest thing to do.

But running from what you feel comes at a price because it creates a cage; bringing limits to what you are and aren’t able to do.

True wing spreading happens where we soften into our aliveness in all forms; anger, grief, pleasure and joy.

We’re here to be brave enough to feel.

That’s how we show our babies what love is. That’s how we come home to our souls and remake our world.

And when all flavours of our emotions are allowed to take space - what’s there to be afraid of?

Nada.

When you

Soften in

Take a breath

And allow your heart to beat just as it is…

With deep kind care…

All is well.

And I’m right there with you.

As are millions of others, waking up to our aliveness at this auspicious time on Earth.

I’m currently on a two week solitary retreat in the rural Midlands.

Taking time to rest, decompress, allow - and watch the general internal flow of love, fear, confusion and joy that arise when my mind is left alone for a stretch of time.

You knew you were gorgeous when you were three and you played and danced and made magic. Remember? Even with bogies in your nose. You knew how extraordinary you were. And it’s still true.

So throw off that doubt, stop worrying about the spot or the roll or the grey hair. You are beautiful. Take a breath with your heart and remember how kind you are. Take a breath with your cheeks and remember that every cell in your body is a miracle.

I love you, you are beautiful.

You’re a gift to the world - you are beautiful. Please stop missing the treat of knowing how much you shine, just through being you. You don’t need the handbag or the lip balm. The energy that moves through your veins is a miracle.

Life is short. You are a miracle. You are beautiful. Put the mirror down and feel it. Sense your heart beating and your breath in your lungs. Set yourself free.

🌖 A big part of my journey has centred around me stopping doing things to make people smile… stopping fawning… posing, performing, people pleasing… stopping ways of being which felt as natural as breathing but were making me droop.

I never knew fawning was an issue for me (I never knew it was a thing) until my body started shutting down in my early twenties and the fatigue became so persistent and distressing that (though I loved being bright fast productive loud) I had to

Slow

Down

And listen to what the tiredness was saying.

And now, to cut a long story short, this process of kindness and listening- of honouring my body’s needs one moment at a time - has brought such wonderful healing, such profound shifts and renewed energy that I now spend my time supporting my coaching clients on similar paths.
