👄 Are you considering a Lip Filler treatment? 👄
Making the leap into aesthetics can be daunting, and before you do so you should be well informed. Below are three key things you should know before booking your treatment!
1. How long does it last? Most hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers last between 3-6 months before they start to break down. However, factors like movement, your metabolism and the brand of dermal filler used for your lip filler treatment can affect overall longevity.
2. Will I get any swelling? In short, yes. Swelling is a totally normal part of the recovery process! Swelling will be most noticeable in the first 2 days whilst the dermal filler settles. By day 3, the swelling should start to reduce significantly, with final results within around a week.
3. Can lip filler be reversed? Yes! Lip filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Results can often be seen within minutes to a few hours. Thicker fillers or larger amounts may require more than one session for complete removal
When considering a lip filler treatment, the most important thing is to choose a practitioner who is skilled enough to achieve the result you want, whilst keeping you safe.
