*******NOTICE*******
As we offer a 24hour service, I find this unacceptable to receive these kind of calls when we could be up all night to attend to those who really need us, to get this call at 02.50 this morning is appalling we appreciate it's coming up to Halloween and prank calls are rife at the moment, but prank calling a funeral directors is low........
I hope somebody recognises the voice as it came up a private number...

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our annual memorial evening will not be taking place this year.
We are truly devastated that we cannot uphold as we usually do but we wish to make all the families aware that we have done funeral for in the last 12 months, we will be doubling up next year so no one misses out. We apologise for the disappointment this may have caused this year but we will be putting in the extra work for next year & Hope to see you all there ❤️

We are looking to take on a new Casual member of staff.

❗️PLEASE NOTE❗️
This is an as and when position. The candidate will need to understand this is not part time or full time just when required!

This job role would suit somebody who requires a bit of work here and there. Must be flexible and have their own transport.

Please find below the requirements you will need to meet to be considered:

- Full UK clean driving licence - 3-5 years experience preferable
- Must own full black suit, white shirt, black tie and suitable shoes
- No experience needed, full training provided.
- Must be Flexible due to our On Call rota, which operates on a rotation basis ( more information on this will be given at the stage of interview )
- would be most suitable for someone aged 40+ but not restricted to that age frame. Anyone can apply over 21 years of age due to insurance purposes.
- Have a strong will to work and be willing to meet new people and travel.

Just to reference, what was on Granada Reports tonight.
There is a new scam going round regarding Funeral Services, the scam is on social media ie Facebook taking people's name who have sadly passed away making posts regarding the funeral services being live streamed for you to watch and then asking you to pay to watch it.
1) If anyone's service is lived streamed, there will never be a post for you to pay to watch it.
2) If there is a live stream, the immediate family will pay the fee charged by the crematorium
3) Heathcote's Funeral Services do offer Facebook live streams, which is of no cost to family or friends
4) If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact us immediately.
A funeral is distressing enough without the worry of this,
PLEASE DO NOT FALL VICTIM OF THIS SCAM...
