✨ Meet the Owners ✨

We’re Rick & Kirsty – full-time muscle scraping therapists and the owners of The Human Upgrade Hub.

Rick’s journey began in 2021 after undergoing surgery for a labrum, bicep tendon, and supraspinatus tear. After following the usual rehab route and still not fully recovering, he discovered muscle scraping.

After just four sessions, Rick was back in the gym smashing his pre-surgery PBs. That experience lit a fire in him – he wanted to help others who felt stuck in pain, just like he had been.

While working two jobs for two years to build The Muscle Scraper, Rick finally took the plunge in 2023 to scrape full time – and he’s been thriving ever since.

Kirsty’s journey began in 2024, after Rick spent a year convincing (okay… nagging 😅) her to join him and become a power team. She was terrified – but took the leap anyway.

After juggling two jobs for just four months, Kirsty committed to sculpting full time and never looked back.

In July last year, we signed the lease for .

We wanted to create something bigger for our clients. Not just a place to help fix injuries – but somewhere to support the entire recovery journey.

A space where scraping meets wellness, performance, and lifestyle change.
