Spent a really insightful afternoon with Andy Burnham and Cllr Helen Kalsi today. We were at Well Pharmacy in Oldham hearing about just how vital community pharmacies are. They are honestly a lifeline to many. They know their communities and they are able to pick up on signs early doors, that can prevent the need for Dr / hospital appts.
I know just how brilliant Malcolm's Pharmacy is in Urmston. Always go the extra mile and it has a real community vibe. Andy is keen to join the dots in Greater Manchester and really recognise the work of community pharmacies.
