Saint Mary's Centre Sexual Assault Referral Centre Saint Mary's Sexual Assault Referral Centre provides a service to men, women and children who have been raped or sexually assaulted.

http://www.stmaryscentre.org St Mary’s Centre was the UK’s first sexual assault referral centre and is a collaborative venture between Central Manchester and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Police Authority. In April 2011, the SARC service was expanded to cover the whole of Cheshire. The SARC provides comprehensive and co-ordinated forensic, counselling and aftercare service to children and adults who have experienced rape or sexual assault (whether recently or in the past).

We're very sad to hear about the passing of the Victim's Commissioner Baroness Helen Newlove.

Helen advocated tirelessly for victims, raised their voices higher and was a great friend.

Our thoughts are with her friends, colleagues and family at this time.
