Pain isn’t random. It’s mechanical.

Most ongoing pain isn’t caused by a single “injury” — it develops when joints don’t move well, muscles compensate, and certain tissues end up overloaded again and again.

That’s why simply resting or stretching often doesn’t fully resolve the problem.

In clinic, we look at:
• Joint movement
• Muscle control
• Load on tendons and soft tissue
• How the body is compensating as a system

Chiropractic and osteopathic treatment focuses on restoring movement and improving mechanics, so tissues aren’t under constant strain.

Pain is the signal.
Movement is usually the missing piece.

Chronic pain that just won’t settle?

We’ve invested in a £15,000 clinical-grade shockwave therapy machine to help patients with stubborn, long-standing tendon and soft tissue pain.

Shockwave therapy is particularly effective for chronic conditions that haven’t fully responded to other treatments such as:
• Manual therapy
• Taping
• Physiotherapy
• Exercises or rest

It works by delivering controlled acoustic waves into the affected tissue, stimulating blood flow and re-activating the body’s natural healing response where healing has slowed or stalled.

We commonly use shockwave for:
• Plantar fasciitis / heel pain
• Tennis & golfer’s elbow
• Achilles tendinopathy
• Patellar (knee) tendinopathy
• Other chronic tendon and soft tissue conditions

Shockwave therapy is FDA-cleared and supported by NICE guidance for specific musculoskeletal conditions, including plantar fasciitis and tendinopathies, when conservative care hasn’t been effective.

As with all treatments, shockwave is only used following a proper assessment to ensure it’s appropriate for you — and is often combined with hands-on care for best results.

If you’ve tried everything else and your pain still hasn’t fully settled, this may be the missing piece.

Chronic pain that just won’t settle?
Shockwave therapy is an evidence-based treatment used to stimulate healing in stubborn tendon and soft tissue conditions.

🔬 How it works:
Shockwave therapy delivers controlled acoustic waves into injured tissue. These waves:
• Increase local blood flow
• Stimulate collagen production
• Trigger the body’s natural healing response
• Help break down chronic degenerative tissue

This is especially useful in conditions where pain has persisted because healing has stalled, rather than ongoing injury.

📚 What does the research say?
Shockwave therapy is well supported in the medical literature, with strong evidence for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and tennis elbow. It is recommended in many clinical guidelines when pain hasn’t responded to rest, exercise or manual therapy alone.

Common conditions we use shockwave for include:
• Plantar fasciitis / heel pain
• Achilles tendinopathy
• Tennis & golfer’s elbow
• Patellar tendinopathy (knee pain)
• Shoulder tendinopathy / calcific tendinitis
• Chronic muscle and tendon pain

Heel pain that just won’t go away?

Plantar fasciitis and chronic heel pain often linger because the tissue has stopped healing properly — rest and stretching alone aren’t always enough.

This is where shockwave therapy can make a real difference.

Shockwave works by stimulating blood flow and reactivating the body’s natural healing process in stubborn, overloaded tissue. It’s commonly used for:
• Plantar fasciitis
• Chronic heel pain
• Achilles tendon pain
• Tendon injuries that haven’t settled

Treatment is quick, targeted, and evidence-based — and always combined with a proper assessment to make sure it’s right for you.

If heel pain is affecting your walking, work, or exercise, don’t just push through it.

✨ Post-pregnancy pelvic pain doesn’t have to be “something you just live with.” ✨

This lovely patient kindly messaged me after her session today to say she’s feeling around 90% less pain and felt her whole pelvic area finally relax 🧘‍♀️

She’s been experiencing pelvic pain since giving birth, something I see far more often than people realise.

In her session, we used a combination of: • Visceral osteopathy (to address tension and restriction around the pelvic organs)
• Gentle joint adjustments
• Targeted soft tissue techniques

Pregnancy and childbirth can place huge strain on the pelvis, lower back and surrounding tissues — and these issues can persist for years if not properly assessed and treated.

If you’ve had children and still experience: • Pelvic or lower back pain
• Hip or groin discomfort
• A feeling of tightness, heaviness or restriction
• Pain that just never fully settled after birth

👉 You don’t have to put up with it.
