🟣FLU AND/OR COVID VACCINATIONS 🟣

I know its only August and you will all be enjoying the holidays and the sunshine but I just wanted to let you know our plans for this year regarding vaccinating.

In the photo attached are a list of all eligible cohorts for this year and when they will be available. Please note we won't be doing all groups listed.

FLU & COVID Will be available for those requiring both vaccines

🟣 65 and Over
We plan to hold a clinic on Saturday 4th October We will have a number of clinicians vaccinating so it is going to be an extremely busy day but we aim to have you in and out in no time but it is the parking that could very well be an issue at times so please bear this in mind.

🟣Under 65
We will have clinics running each week where appointments can be booked and we may include in the Saturday clinic on the 4th.

🟣Children aged 2-3 years
We will hold a Funtastic Clinic on Saturday 13th September, appointments will be available to book soon, watch for the text message 🎈🎈🎈

🟣Pregnant ladies
We will have clinics running each week so book an appointment.

Vaccines have already been purchased by the practice and we thank you for supporting your practice and having your vaccine with us at the medical centre.

We will open booking slots soon, so please look out for a text message 📲when they are available to book.

When you find out you are pregnant, you can refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care so you start care with a midwife right away.

Once you sign up online, the maternity team will contact you to book your first appointment with a midwife.

You should do this by the 10th week of pregnancy, if possible, but it’s never too late to start. If you're over 10 weeks, refer yourself as soon as you can.

is moving from Argyle Place to Croft Shifa Health Centre in Rochdale from Tuesday 12 August.

Our contact details and services will remain the same. You can also refer in the same way as before.

Our new address is/will be The Croft Shifa Health Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale OL16 2UP.

The new location offers improved facilities while maintaining service quality, with the same staffing as before.

If you have an existing appointment with us, this will now take place at Croft Shifa from Monday 18 August. You don't need to do anything – we'll still see you at your usual appointment time.

Please note there are no drop-ins on Tuesday 12 or Thursday 14 August.

Breast screening is always carried out by a female clinician. 🌷

You may of seen in the news today about breast screening including male clinicians to carry out breast screening but we would like to reassure you that your breast screening will be completed by a female member of staff.
