Type: Self-Employed Contract
Hours: Flexible within permitted hours (Monday–Saturday, 8:30am–5:00pm)
Are you a qualified and passionate hairdresser looking to run your own business in a warm, welcoming care village environment?
Belong Atherton is offering a unique opportunity for a self-employed hairdresser to operate from our dedicated treatment room, providing high-quality hair services to our residents and visitors. This is a fantastic chance to build meaningful relationships while enjoying the freedom of managing your own schedule and business.
What’s Included:
• A fully equipped treatment space within our vibrant care village
• Access to a staffed reception, waiting area, and client facilities
• Utilities, cleaning, and waste disposal services provided
• Use of a till system for secure and transparent transactions
• Weekly reconciliation and payment of your business turnover (minus agreed licence fee)
What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified hairdresser with relevant registrations and insurances (evidence required)
• Someone with a caring, professional approach and excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide references and undertake a DBS check
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service
• Willingness to work collaboratively within our village community
