Rotator Cuff muscles:
The rotator cuff is a group of four muscles and their tendons that surround the shoulder joint.
These structures form a cuff around the head of the humerus (upper arm bone), holding it securely within the shallow socket of the shoulder blade (scapula).
This arrangement is crucial for both stability and movement, as it allows for a wide range of motion while keeping the joint in place. 💪🏼

Facet Joint Pain 💁🏼♀️
Facet joint pain, or facet syndrome, is pain that originates from the joints connecting the vertebrae in your spine. Facet joints are located on both sides of the vertebrae.
They provide stability while allowing for spinal movement like twisting and bending.
When they become worn down, inflamed, or damaged, it can cause pain and stiffness.
You can treat facet joint pain by using massage, joint mobilisations, using acupuncture and also appropriate exercises/stretches.
If this is something you are experiencing or think you might have, why not book in for an initial assessment and treatment on our website:
