Founded in 1993, The Life Centre is a friendly haven, where yoga and Pilates inspire well-being and a community spirit. INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY and SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATIONS RETURN TO THE GREAT NORTHERN WITH A FREE 2 HOUR SESSION ON Saturday 21st June 2025 lead by

This International Yoga Day, practice your Sun Salutations a little differently, with a morning session outdoors, for all abilities at The Great Northern.

Held in the centre of the Great Northern’s (@) iconic amphitheatre, world-class yoga teachers from The Life Centre will be hosting a '108 Sun Salutations' sessions from 7.30-9.30am to celebrate this international calendar day.

Kickstart your day by performing 108 Sun Salutations, under the supervision of accomplished yogis, as the sun rises over the city.

You will learn a set sequence designed by Sue before being nourished and supported as you explore your own unique, personal approach to becoming a teacher, or applying your new-found knowledge to your own practice and profession.

We welcome applicants at all levels of their yoga journey and we are one of the most competitively priced courses in the UK.

The course runs over a 10 day intensive, followed by a series of weekend intensives during Oct - Dec 2025. You will qualify in December 2025.
