Sisters separated after losing both parents.
Can you even imagine it?

They were in the same city but with no way to stay in touch.
I cannot imagine the pain & grief. The trauma.
My daughter insists i take her to school every day & is usually waiting by the door when I arrive home after her - i even get upset if Im going to be later than I said when picking her up at after school club, thinking she'll be wondering where i am. (She's usually engrossed in handstands / fidget toy swaps, not thinking about me at all).

I loved my gran to pieces and knowing how hard she had it, makes me want to reach back through the years to squeeze her even tighter.

And this is what Russian Dolls is going to do. Send love to the ancestors who need it.

Here's the bit that makes Russian Dolls so different to anything you've tried before.

Your nervous system is efficient.
It prefers familiar responses over new ones.
So when a relationship presents:
uncertainty
emotional charge
imbalance
your system doesn't invent a response. It pulls one from storage. (clever right?!)
Often that response was shaped by earlier family dynamics:
how disagreement was handled
who adapted to whom
what kept things calm

That's why certain interactions feel automatic. So when your your mother in law insults your dry roast potatoes, and your response is to bite your tongue, and sit silent but furious, chances are that that response is older than your relationship with her.

It might be that many women in your lineage were not allowed to argue or talk back to elders - for fear of being cast out from the family.

When your brother “teases you” mercilessly about how “sensitive” you are, and you can't stop the frustrated crying response, it might be that the men in your family were always “more important” and your feelings weren't relevant - and lets face it, many women were reliant on men for income - so, you HAD to put up with it

These ancestral behaviours are alive today, in you.

6 years of teaching tapping as a way to self regulate. To respond not react.
6 years of teaching women to process their rage & outrage. To move on from what happened. To give less cares about what they said.

Taking it to the masses gives me more joy than you could possibly imagine. A stage, an audience and tapping with perimenopausal women is my favourite place.
