We aim to provide a service which is person-centred and enables each service user to make their own choices about the care and support they receive. Assured Care (Stockport) Ltd provides a range of services for people within their own home these include:

Personal Care

• Assisting Service User to get up or go to bed
• Assisting with grooming and dressing.
• Preparing hot meals or snacks and drink

• Assistance with toileting needs
• Catheter Care
• Prompting of medication
• Assistance with medication with the use of a blister pack
• Emptying of commodes
• Shopping for Service Users
• Bathing Services
• Light domestic tasks – washing dishes, emptying bins etc
• Pension Collection
• Prescription Collection

Companionship

• Visiting friends, family, neighbours
• Outings to garden centres, parks, cemeteries etc
• Shopping trips
• Reading books, newspapers, magazines
• Talking/Conversations
• Hospital/Doctor appointments
• Playing games i.e. board games, cards etc
• Paying bills
• Assistance with writing letters, shopping lists, etc
• Reminiscence
• Church Visits

We have full and part time positions available for Care Assistants

Ideally, you would have a positive, caring attitude as well as a full UK driving license and access to your own car. However, we also have walking positions.

You will receive full training and no previous experience required.

You will also stay in one area of Stockport during your shift.
