OKE - Our Kids Eyes Our Registered Charity provides support, information and activities to Tameside families who have children with special needs/disabilities.

Our parent led charity is here to listen, support and empower families. Our charity provides support, advice, information and lots of activities & events throughout the year for Tameside families who have children with special needs. Our charity is run solely by Parent Volunteers and their aim is to make Tameside the best place to raise a child with Special Needs.

Specialist equipment for children with SEND is incredibly expensive.

Newlife’s Equipment Grant Service provides essential specialist equipment to support disabled and terminally ill children, helping to improve function, comfort and quality of life.

Through our equipment services we provide essential equipment to disabled children, such as beds, buggies, wheelchairs and car seats.

Session 2 – Capacity, Stress & Predictability: Preventing Overload Before It Escalates

Session 3 – Creating Sensory-Smart, Regulation-Aware Schools

New group starting in Ashton for young adults who are neurodiverse 😊

A couple of weeks ago we were approached by some young adults wanting to start up a new social group that was specifically aimed at young adults who are neurodiverse.

We are so pleased to announce that every Wednesday starting from 18th March they will be kickstarting their group with us!
11am-1pm
£3 per person

Each session there will be an opportunity to challenge others in some board games, get creative with crafts or just come along for a chat!
