A crèche facility will be available and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, as capacity is limited.

It's completely FREE for them to submit their artwork, we will frame it and then sell them at the Arts and Crafts Fest on the 29th March. It's a lovely opportunity for them to showcase their talent, boost their confidence and raise funds for the Community Centre at the same time.

You must live in Tameside and have a child aged 0-17 with SEND who lives with you, but they do not need a diagnosis

We’re continuing to hear great things about Silver Springs SEND Resource Base.

The Silver Springs’ new SEND Resource Base in is proving a huge hit with families 🥰

Cllr Leanne Feeley visited the new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) resource base at Silver Springs Primary Academy, Stalybridge, and spoke with Headteacher Deborah Mason about the incredible work being done. The visit was a chance to see firsthand the enthusiasm of the children, the creativity of the staff, and the strong partnerships with families that make this provision so special.

The space provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where children thrive through tailored support, creative activities, and strong friendships. Here’s some of the feedback shared by families:

“The staff are wonderful. The way my child happily runs into school every day is nothing short of a miracle.”

“It was heartwarming to hear how well the children connected with each other and how much joy there was in the room.”
