🚨 HOT OFF THE PRESS 🚨 Shared on behalf of TMBC

Sensory support framework for Early Years children.
A practical resource to support young children with sensory differences, both in Early Years settings and within your homes, where sensory needs can affect many aspects of everyday family life

To help bring the toolkit to life and support families to use it confidently, we are offering a series of online evening sessions for parents and carers. These sessions are designed to be supportive, practical, and accessible, and we would warmly encourage you to attend if you are able.

To support understanding and everyday use, we are offering two online sessions:

🔹 Monday 11th May | 6.00–7.00pm
Early Years Sensory Support Toolkit – Introduction Session
An overview of the Early Years Sensory Support Toolkit, including practical guidance on how you can use it to support your child at home and in partnership with their setting.

🔹 Tuesday 19th May | 6.00–7.00pm
Early Years Sensory Foundations & School Readiness
A focused session exploring sensory foundations in Early Years and why they are so important in supporting children’s regulation, development, and readiness for school.

Time: 6.00 – 6.30pm
Online: Microsoft Teams
Delivered by TfGM and Local Authority travel trainers

This session will introduce TfGM passes, concessions and travel training resources, with practical tips from travel trainers. It is designed to help families and young people understand what support is available and how travel training can help build confidence when travelling independently.

This session may be particularly helpful for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND, families preparing for the transition from primary to secondary school, and young people who want more information about travelling independently on the Bee Network.
