Aries, Tissue Salts and Kali Phos
Aries is traditionally associated with the head and the structures connected to it, including the cerebrum, spinal cord, sensory nerves, face and lower jaw. Because of this head‑focused link, the tissue salt most often connected with Aries is Kali Phos, also known as Potassium Phosphate or Phosphate of Potash.
In traditional tissue‑salt literature, Kali Phos is described as “the great healing salt.” It is associated with the grey matter of the brain, the nerve centres and the body’s natural communication pathways. These ideas come from older naturopathic teachings that look at the body in a more holistic way.
The Background: Dr Schuessler and the 12 Cell Salts
My interest in the body and how it works led me to the work of Dr Wilhelm Schuessler, a German physician from the 1800s. He identified 12 essential cell salts that he believed were fundamental to human health. Later writers connected each salt to a zodiac sign, suggesting that every sign has a constitutional salt that supports the areas of the body it rules.
For Aries, that salt is Kali Phos.
This is not a new idea; it is part of a long tradition of natural health systems that explore how minerals, tissues and constitutional patterns may relate to each other. I simply enjoy learning about these topics and sharing what I find interesting.
Healthy Eating and Absorption
One theme that appears throughout tissue‑salt literature is the importance of healthy eating habits. When the diet is balanced and nourishing, the body is better able to absorb and utilise the minerals it needs, including the cell salts.
This is not about replacing medical care; it is about understanding the body and supporting it through good habits.
Important Note
This information is not medical advice. I am not a doctor, and I am not diagnosing or treating any condition. I enjoy reading, learning and exploring how the body works, including traditional systems like tissue salts and their links to astrology. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
