Our Story

We are a local home care provider that specialise in person centred care promoting independence within a persons own environment.

Dementia Care & Support at home limited is a domiciliary care agency that was established in 2011 to respond to the needs of local people affected by dementia, memory difficulties or general care needs.

We deliver a range of care and support services to individuals who remain living in their own home and continually aim to provide i a comprehensive , person centred plan of care and support tailor made to suit individual needs as required.

We provide care services to both private clients and through the local authority.

We have a handyman service available to provide help with any of your odd jobs or DIY needs including the supply and fitting of security essentials such as key safes etc.

We are registered with the care quality commissions and our inspection reports are available upon request.

Our aims and objectives are:

To maximise and enhance a persons own abilities and independence by providing home care support and one to one social and community support.

To provide support and assistance with daily living tasks to enhance and promote living well with dementia.

To support people to remain active in their local community to enhance the quality of life without the perception if independence becoming affected.

To support people to continue with hobbies, activities and interests of choice enabling to remain socially stimulated.

To promote and enable carers/family to have a regular break from their caring role, reducing isolation and stress.

To work with those using the service and their carers/ family as care partners to compile a person centred support plan to enable choice and control of the care and support required.

To treat each person as an equal and an individual.
