Two weeks post-op and still very swollen?
Don’t worry — swelling at this stage is very common. However, in some cases it may be a seroma (a pocket of fluid) beginning to form.

A seroma can sometimes be drained with a syringe, but not always. A professional Therapist will advise you if for safe and accurate treatment, it’s best to return to your surgeon for drainage using ultrasound or scanning when needed.

To reduce swelling and avoid complications, remember to book your MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) as early as possible.
