I’m honoured to have been elected the next President of FESSH.
My sincere thanks to the colleagues, peers, and mentors across Europe who supported, guided, and believed in me.
I’m especially proud that, for the first time, a surgeon from the UK has been entrusted with this role - a reflection, I believe, of FESSH’s unity and evolving diversity.
In the year ahead, I’ll be listening, learning, and preparing with respect to the vision I shared:

A big shout for all the unsung heroes who make it happen and are part of our teams delivering specialist care for our patients. Recently pulled out all the stops on two separate occasions driving across the region to deliver kit for complex hand surgery needed urgently. Those patients would not have been able to their operations. Thanks to Did you know that the implants we often use are made of TITANIUM a special metal that’s found to be safe strong, durable and bonds well with bone … 😉 🙌🏽
