Pharmacy Dispenser (Full Training Provided)
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. No previous qualifications are required, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 am β 6:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing, and preparing medicines for collection
Supporting the safe supply of medicines in line with pharmacy procedures
Working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmacy services
Providing advice and support to patients regarding their medications, and referring queries to the pharmacist when necessary
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and legal dispensing practices
Preparing and dispensing monitored dosage systems (e.g. blister packs/βvena packβ) for care homes
Managing MAR charts and backing sheets for care home patients
Requirements:
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and undertake training
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
