Vania Pellegrino Counsellor and Psychotherapist I'm a bilingual (English & Italian) Psychotherapist and psychologist with over 15 years of experience. The psychodynamic perspective is my main approach.

I am a dedicated Psychotherapist, Psychologist and Supervisor with a Master in Psychology Degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and a Post-Graduate Certficate in Clinical Supervision. I have over 15 years of significant and progressive experience in the adult mental health sector. I am a professional registered member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My main approach is Psychodynamic and I am qualified to work in individual and group setting. A Brief description about psychodynamic approach:
The basic of the psychodynamic perspective is to understand what is going on in the mind of an individual to see what is going on in the unconscious part of the mind. This will provide insight into how the patient views their relationships, experiences, and the world and how that affects their preferences, behaviors, and drives, and therefore personality. Who can benefit from a psychotherapy? These individuals are genuinely interested in exploring themselves and seek self-knowledge in addition to symptom relief. They have a natural curiosity for their internal life and why they behave the way they do. Areas of psychotherapy-counselling I deal with:

Che splendida idea. Una foresta della memoria, un progetto dal titolo bellissimo "Life for a life". Quando qualcuno muore, i familiari comprano un alberello dove seppeliranno le ceneri del proprio caro : "vita per una vita" appunto. Penso che sia un modo bellissimo per riconetterci con i propri cari, un ciclo che congiunge morte e vita. Spero che ci possano essere sempre piu iniziative come questa, meno cimiteri con lapidi e cemento. Ho passeggiato per i sentieri di questa foresta della memoria e ho sentito un sentimento di pace, di gioia e di entusiamo. Un altro modo per guardare la fine come inizio di qualcos'altro. Grazie a chi ha avuto questa splendida idea

What a wonderful idea. A forest of remembrance, a project with the beautiful title "Life for a Life." When someone dies, the family buys a small tree where they will bury their loved one's ashes: "life for a life," indeed. I think it's a beautiful way to reconnect with our loved ones, a cycle that unites death and life. I hope there will be more initiatives like this, fewer cemeteries with gravestones and cement.I walked through the paths of this forest of remembrance and felt a sense of peace, joy, and enthusiasm. Another way to see the end is as the beginning of something new. Thanks to whoever had this wonderful idea.

Sono una psicoterapeuta a orientamento psicodinamico e come molti di voi sono una emigrata.

Sebbene vivere all'estero sicuramente e' un'esperienza esaltante e formativa dal punto di vista personale, e' pur vero che richiede un grande dispendio psichico. Si lascia il proprio Paese di origine, insieme alle nostre abitudini e affetti. Bisogna reinserirsi in una cultura differente dalla nostra e recuperare quelle parti di noi p***e con il "trasferimento". Questo processo di "assestamento" richiede tempo e a volte una grande sofferenza emotiva.

Offro sessioni di counselling e terapia a tutti coloro che stanno vivendo delle difficolta' dovute a questo momento di transizione tra il "chi ero" e il "chi sono". Tratto inoltre problemi di depressione, disturbi d'ansia, lutto e problemi relazionali.
