Keystones Community Day Support Service for adults with a learning disability

Our Principals are:
• People with Learning Disabilities are at the centre of everything we do
PLEASE NOTE: we are able to offer support ONLY to ambulant adults who do not require a wheelchair and have independent personal care skills.
• We support people to be part of the local community and to be treated as equal to others
• We support people to have their say
• We work hard to ensure the service meets people’s needs
• We make sure that people with Learning Disabilities and their carers are fully involved with the planning and checking of our services
• We strive to employ a quality workforce

Keystones friends finishing another fabulous week of engaging activities, first stop The Forum Café as we returned after a few weeks away, great to catch up with other friends & staff as we also prepared for a brilliant morning Ten Pin Bowling in Altrincham - awesome team work everyone 🎳 🌟
Drive over to The Carter’s Arms in Sale Moor for lunch, pool & card games with our friends from Out & About - a really lovely end to a wonderful week of fun and friendship, have a great weekend everyone 😊

Thursday already!! Brilliant to have nearly everyone back at Gaming today, of course we had our usual meet up for a drink & catch up with friends at The Coffeehouse in Sale, followed by a great morning accessible gaming with ‘Everyone Can’
Lunch & a busy afternoon with Altrincham FC’s Community Coaches for their Thursday Sports & Social session.
Sam had also kindly saved some of his cup cakes from his birthday to share with his friends who weren’t in yesterday too 🧁

How great to be back at Atlantic Bowl in Altrincham for an awesome morning of Ten Pin Bowling & meeting our friends from Out & About in the Café there too.

Lunch outside in the welcome sunshine for some of our Keystones friends back at our Wythenshawe Cricket Club base & enjoying some delicious cup cakes 🧁 brought in by Sam as we all celebrated his birthday from last week, before a fun afternoon playing Nintendo Switch ‘Just Dance ‘ or word searches for those that preferred - it really felt like spring was in the air today 😊 ☀️

After nearly 6 weeks away from our usual scheduled activities due to unforeseen circumstances, it really was amazing to be able to resume our usual Tuesday activities, art, puzzles & socialising with friends from Out & About, followed after lunch by a much anticipated return to Woodhouse Park’s Lifestyle Centre for an afternoon of inclusive sports with the fabulous ‘Better Things’ & catching up with all our friends in the community.
