Community Day Support Service for adults with a learning disability

Our Principals are:
• People with Learning Disabilities are at the centre of everything we do
PLEASE NOTE: we are able to offer support ONLY to ambulant adults who do not require a wheelchair and have independent personal care skills.
• We support people to be part of the local community and to be treated as equal to others
• We support people to have their say
• We work hard to ensure the service meets people’s needs
• We make sure that people with Learning Disabilities and their carers are fully involved with the planning and checking of our services
• We strive to employ a quality workforce

Meet up first at The Coffeehouse in Sale before Everyone Can’s adult gaming session, followed by lunch & Altrincham FC’s Sports & Social session with their community coaches.

Wednesday, a day of dodging rain showers, thunder & lightning, so good job all our activities were based indoors!!
Café meet up & Ten pin bowling in the morning, followed by lunch & Nintendo Switch Just Dance & wordsearches in the afternoon at our cricket club base.

Morning of accessible gaming with the awesome Everyone Can adult session this morning in Sale, after our usual meet and greet at the very friendly Coffeehouse Café.
Altrincham FC’s inclusive sports and social group in the afternoon for lunch and indoor sports, games & puzzles with great friends.

So after an extra day off this week after the bank holiday, it was great to be back with our Wednesday Keystones friends, meeting up for a drink & catch up at Atlantic Bowl for Ten Pin Bowling 🎳 before heading over to our base at Wythenshawe Cricket Club for lunch & Bingo.
We also got to congratulate our very own Tracy Bailey on her being awarded the Safe Hands award yesterday at Lancashire Cricket ground as a longstanding Cricket Collective Volunteer for Wythenshawe CC.
A great day of friendship, community & celebration 😊
