What if the most productive thing you did this week… was deep rest?

Join me every Monday at 7:30pm at Jai Yoga Studio for a Candlelit Yin + Yoga Nidra practice designed to help you release the day, soften your nervous system, and reset for the week ahead.

🌿 Spring Focus (Traditional Chinese Medicine): Liver & Gallbladder
In TCM, spring is connected to the Wood element, supporting growth, renewal, and forward movement. Our practice will gently target the liver and gallbladder meridians, helping release stored tension, frustration, and stagnation so your energy can flow freely into the new season.
Expect long, supported holds, calming candlelight, and a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra meditation to close.

Spring Yin Poses we’ll explore:
🌱 Dragon Pose – stimulates the liver meridian and supports emotional release
🌱 Shoelace Pose – opens the outer hips and gallbladder line
🌱 Twisted Roots – nourishes spinal mobility and supports detoxification

✨ International Women’s Day 2026 ✨

My heart is so full after such a beautiful morning celebrating women, movement and community.

A huge thank you to lululemon ambassador for co-hosting this special morning with me. Your energy, support and commitment to building strong communities for women is so inspiring.

We started the morning with a community run, followed by a post-run recovery yoga practice at , creating space for women to move, breathe and reconnect.

A special thank you to Lululemon for providing delicious pastries that brought everyone together afterwards ☕🥐

Thank you to Ancient + Brave for their Cacao + Changa drink ☕ we felt so calm after our run.

💛 Why events like this matter
• 1 in 4 (roughly 25% of adults) people in the UK experience a mental health problem each year.
• Regular movement can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by up to 30%.
• A 12-week study found that, along with a 12-week course of yoga, participants experienced a decrease in depression symptoms and improvements in emotional regulation.
• Community connection is one of the most powerful protectors for women’s mental wellbeing.

Today reminded us that when women come together to move, breathe and support one another, something truly powerful happens.

I often get asked… *How did you become a ambassador?*
And in all honesty — I don’t know.

I didn’t apply.
There wasn’t an advert.
I certainly wasn’t planning anything.

🤍 I’ve just been authentically myself.
Showing up as me.
Doing what I do every single day.

🤍 When the opportunity came 💍 — I said YES.

💥 I was drawn to the opportunity to represent the millions of people who look and are like me.

I’m a regular British Asian woman.

Yesterday I delivered my Manifest + Vision Meditation Workshop to 10 beautiful souls from my studio in Cheadle Hulme.

Ninety minutes. Fully guided. Deeply intentional. Purpose-led.

Before stepping into this work, I lived the 9-to-whatever life (never 9–5).

Constant pressure. Constant output.
Running on a treadmill that never seemed to stop.
Burnout clouded my creativity.
Exhaustion replaced inspiration. 🔥

And I know so many creatives, founders, bloggers and influencers here in Manchester and across the North are feeling the same.

We’re building brands.
We’re building platforms.
We’re building communities.

But when do we pause to ask:
What am I actually building? And does it align with the life I want?
