At Burrswood today we supported the importance of our Mental Health. We had cakes, biscuits and chocolates as a well deserved treat, good conversations & laughs.

We have enjoyed making these pretty Autumn vases for our dining room. We used different coloured leaves, lots of conkers & acorns and pretty fairy lights ✨️ 🌰🤎🍂

Today is National Arts in Care Homes!
We celebrated this day by having lots of fun decorating Autumn wreaths, creating leaf collages, colouring Autumn pictures and making bracelets with different coloured beads. 🎨 🍂 🖌

Burrswood is made up of four separate houses, with each one offering a different level of care – Key House offers residential dementia care, Peel House is for nursing dementia care, Dunster House provides general nursing and Crompton House offers residential care.

We pride ourselves on the warm, friendly atmosphere you'll find when you come to Burrswood and we believe it's the perfect place to stay for either long or short-term care.

Situated in Walmersley near Bury, there's plenty of opportunity to get out and about locally, with trips into the town of Bury (with its famous market), the Royal Fusiliers museum and Burrs Country Park all being close to hand.
