Ah, so this is what our wellbeing dog idea could’ve looked like — five years later, actually happening somewhere and nominated for Collaboration of the Year in the Fire Service Awards! We pitched the same thing back then, but it never got past the “nice idea” stage. Looks like Blue’s getting all the belly rubs we missed out on. Well done, London Fire Brigade ! 🐾🔥

🗣️ Time to Talk Day – Start the Conversation 🗣️

Today is Time to Talk Day, a reminder that conversations about mental health matter. Created by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, this day encourages open, honest discussions to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Talking—even about small things—can make a big difference. Whether it’s a chat with a friend, a walk with a loved one, or simply checking in, every conversation counts.

Let’s take a moment today to listen, support, and remind each other that no one has to face things alone. 💙

After a peaceful walk in the woods, it’s a good time to reflect on the power of simple moments. The rustle of leaves, the crisp air, and the quiet rhythm of your steps remind you to slow down and reset. Walking with a dog adds something special—they encourage us to stay present, notice the little things, and bring a sense of calm just by being there. Their quiet companionship reminds us that we’re never alone, even in the quietest moments. Let that connection inspire you to carry a sense of peace into the rest of your day—one step at a time.
