When we experience pain, it’s easy to feel like our body is betraying us or letting us down, which in turn can often lead to a battle against ourselves, and what feels like a fight to fix what is wrong.
The general consensus is that if something hurts, then there’s something physical broken, something that can be seen or at least measured…. but what if this isn’t the full picture?
What if symptoms are a language we’ve simply forgotten how to understand?
The language of our bodies.
What if we saw our discomfort as an invitation to become curious and listen, instead of rushing to silence it?
Symptoms are not random, they are how your body expresses its needs, how it calls us back to our bodies and our true nature… guiding us to look deeper.
What emotional burdens are being carried? What needs continue to go unmet?
What truths have been suppressed?
This compassionate reframe may well feel uncomfortable and unfamiliar, but if you are suffering, I urge you to allow yourself to explore. To move yourself from a place of victim looking outside of yourself for answers, to one of partnership with your own innate healing intelligence ✨
