Waffling , but you know what I mean , it’s hard to express how this makes me feel .. but here goes xx
As a celebrant , one of the nicest compliments we get is when someone comes out and says “how long have you known him ? “ , or “ I’d love you to do mine “
This makes your heart warm ..
However very rarely does this happen understandably , only a handful of times in nearly 4 years for me ..
and that’s when , the chapel applaud at the end of the service for you .. it is so humbling and breathtaking and happened to me yesterday after one of my services , the chapel was bursting , people standing outside .. and we stand there and can say nothing but thank you .. in a humble way. This is not a job , it’s a vocation , we too take on the pain families feel , while we help them navigate this day of celebration for their loved ones .
But thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️ it’s something that stays with us forever, your generosity and kindness, while dealing with your own pain…
