Ooh where to start ?
I had the absolute honour of being able to create and deliver the service for Andrew , Dizzy, Disire.
As with us all , I was gutted to hear the news ..
I have , as we all do amazing memories of Dizzy …. I smile about our chats about Menopause, the weight loss tips she gave me , while handing me Brownie she had saved for me . Or the knowing smile when a tune came on she knew I loved .. 🥰
So I knew I had to do something in return , and to be able to meet her wonderful friends who are all equally as amazing was a gift . What beautiful people inside and out .
So together with them , and Jonno’s guidance, on what we could put in and what we certainly couldn’t … tears , laughs and a lot of sleepless nights ..
Dizzys farewell was created .
And it was only right there was a technical issue with the music and a Heckler , Chanel brooches, more lashes than in boots and a smell of Coco Chanel in the chapel … it made it even more fitting 😄
And Wow what a love filled room ….
And boy oh boy … I bet they no she’s arrived up there now… ♥️
Sleep Well Darling , lashes off, lippy wiped, and put your fluffy Mules up … Nan night gorgeous ♥️

I’ve been a little quiet , the last few weeks have been busy with some wonderful Farewells .. I’ve been to a couple of new Crematoriums and met with some lovely family’s … I pinch myself daily ,
Feeling so honoured to be in a position where I can meet so many amazing families and we still always manage to have a smile
Even in the darkest of times ….

As a Funeral Celebrant, we see Services of all shapes and sizes.
Small and intimate as small as 3 people , large and loud as much as 500 people .. both equally as bespoke ..
Then there are the ones “that just get to you “ and over the last couple of weeks I’ve had a few.
One in particular… where both the FD and myself were in tears , we are human after all.
A mum , who stood and told the story of her young daughter’s life, the one she had , the one cut so short …
Again today I stood reading the message of a mum , whose young son had his life cut so short …
As a parent myself, we know this is not in the order of things … and the pain is devastating.
We thank god it’s not us, but it so easily could be …
And it stops us in our tracks for a while , and that family are forefront of our minds.
And that doesn’t stop after the service.

Celebrants are human, we hear your pain, and see your tears ,and some days we feel every bit of it for you too. And you remain on our minds and in our hearts … ♥️
