My week so far , has been beautiful, I’ve done a service with Tom Hardy in pink Bramcote Crematorium a couple of wonderful farewells, in Mansfield & District Crematorium , a fun filled , air guitar , 🎸 motorbike 🏍️ convoy service Trent Valley Crematorium, and a pop of red for a lovely ladySherwood Forest Crematorium , And it’s only Wednesday.
Every celebration of life can be as diverse and as bespoke as you so wish . And that is exactly how it should be. ♥️

It’s been a busy week … but I ended my week of Farewells with one close to the heart 💖
Today both myself and Anne 'wilcockson' Walker , from Ivan Bramley helped Celebrate the life of a Schoolfriend “Lisa”
Anne, has cared for Lisa with the upmost care and respect for the last few weeks and today I led her service .
It was humbling , thought provoking, and full of glitter, bright colours and sparkle . Just as Lisa would have wanted it .
She has a wonderful , close family , and so many friends from all over the world ..
Lisa was feisty, mischievous, loud, but beautiful not only on the outside but also the inside . Happy, fluffy, sparkles Lisa … go drink champagne 🍾 and dance up there girl …
Forever young 💖♥️💖

I will post more from this week , but for now Lisa deserves to be centre of attention.. so I’ll pause to reflect just for now xx

Respect Their Final Journey.

The journey to and from the crematorium is hard and is made even harder by the shocking behaviour of other drivers. It makes you realise how little patience some have for a funeral procession.

When you see a hearse, you're not just seeing another car. You're seeing a person on their very last journey, accompanied by their grieving family and friends who are trying to hold it together.
They are carrying heavy hearts, and the last thing they need is someone cutting in, rushing past, or sounding a horn.

It costs nothing to slow down and give them space. This small act of respect means everything to those in mourning. Remember, we never know when it will be our family in that convoy, hoping for the same kindness from strangers.

As we come into the my favourite time of the year , Autumn 🍂..
I’ve been a little quiet , these last couple of weeks have been busy and seen me travelling around .. on some gorgeous farewells, … I’ve been to .. beautiful
Bramcote Crematorium 4 times in one week , the huge Trent Valley Crematorium, welcoming Sherwood Forest CrematoriumA. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, Mansfield Woodhouse chapel, which is intimate ans personal and the gorgeous Gedling Crematorium…. How privileged I am to get to visit all these wonderful chapels and be in a position to work alongside such amazing colleagues…
This is my best life , creating stories for people who have lived their lives with love ❤️

Wow 🤩.. no words … what a beautiful and thoughtful , gift … after sitting in this fabulous family meet , with the gorgeous Jamie , smiling , laughing and crying … (and admiring his fabulous decor)
I was overwhelmed to receive this very beautiful bag of gifts… i always say “I’ll never light a “ Jo Malone candle “ but for you and “Nanna” I will my lovely angel, thank you from the bottom of my oh so grateful heart ♥️

At the beginning of a new week , I’m just writing a little word about “last week” … I had a lovely week of “Hello’s meeting new families , as we begin this journey together , wonderful stories I heard , as I sat , listening to, smiling with , and shedding a tear for them … I look forward to the next week or so working alongside them …
I also had some amazing farewells , one that stands out was for a wonderful lady, who’s daughter only passed last year. She had been being looked after by her grandson, who cared and loved her 24/7, whether she was calling him “Darlin” or a pig … but always with a cheeky smile …
We laughed , we cried , layed roses, had some fabulous music and toasted with Baileys .. and truly celebrated this amazing lady .. sleep well Nanna , nan night , God Bless ♥️

A beautiful , simple and elegant service yesterday for a man , who introduced himself as School Master , in physical education. … Ollerton Proud , working at the local Dukeries School and playing Golf at the local Sherwood Forest Golf Club … Alan, I hope your “teeing” off on the big course in the sky … Rest Well ♥️

A beautiful service today , created with so much love 🥰 by this ladies amazing children … she was a lady who loved , who loved to be loved , had a laugh , could be clumsy and loved her lemonade …
Rest well .. this is only farewell and when we meet again “ get us a lemonade babe “ ♥️
