💧 **This week is Nutrition and Hydration Week (16–22 March)**

A national campaign raising awareness about the importance of eating well and staying hydrated.

Good nutrition and hydration are essential for helping older adults stay healthy, maintain strength, and live independently. But changes in appetite, routine, and mobility can sometimes make it harder to get the nutrients and fluids our bodies need.

To support this important campaign, we’ve shared helpful tips in our latest blog, including:
🥗 Key nutrients for older adults
💧 Why hydration matters more than you might think
🍽 Simple ways to encourage healthy eating

When outdoor spaces stop being used, it’s often not about motivation, it’s about mobility or confidence.

A little weekly support can mean:
🌿 Sitting outside safely
🌼 Tending to favourite flowers
☀ Enjoying fresh air again

Independence doesn’t disappear.
It just needs protecting.

Find out how we can help support independence at home by visiting premiercommunity.co.uk, dropping us a message or calling us on 01623 810 100.

We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a cherished client within our North Nottinghamshire area, but it means so much to us to know that our care, advice, and support made a meaningful difference, especially in her final months.

We are grateful for the trust her family placed in us and for allowing us to share in her life.

We often speak to families who tell us, 'they’re still independent, it’s just small things.'

And they’re right. Home care doesn’t mean losing independence. Often, it’s what protects it.

A few visits a week can prevent bigger challenges later. If you’re unsure whether now is the right time, our local team is always happy to talk no pressure, just advice.

Call us today on 01623 810 100 or send us a message.

It’s been great meeting everyone who popped by our stand at the NHS recruitment event at Vision West Notts this evening! I managed to get a cheeky pic before the crowds came in, but we loved explaining how community care can be a stepping stone towards a career in the NHS.

Our Story

Gill Isterling a registered nurse set up a business from her family home. The business moved from supplying nurses to carrying out domestic services in the community

In 2000 Premier Care registered with CSCI now known as the Care Quality Commision and launched in order to move from domestic tasks to delivering personal care. This was the start of our social care journey

In 2006 Premier Care was a flourishing small business delivering home care and domestic tasks. We won our first local authority contract with Derbyshire County Council, which allowed Premier Care to deliver our high quality care to a wider audience. We also moved into our first professional offices in a local community centre.

In 2018 Premier Care has grown in size and now delivers support to over 600 service users and employs over 300 staff each and everyone developed with the ethos of our family care values that Gill first set out to deliver. We are now a innovative provider operating from our head office at Lancaster House
