Hi, I’m Rob Gill, and I combine a passion for family history with my love of drawing and design to create one-of-a-kind heirloom portraits. I offer two unique ways to preserve and celebrate your ancestry:
Hand-Drawn Family Collage Portraits
Using pencil, I create detailed collages featuring meaningful images from your family’s past—perhaps your grandfather’s occupation, your father’s first car, or the church your great-grandparents married in. Over this, I overlay your family tree by hand, connecting generations in a stunning A3 keepsake you can frame and treasure. I digitally design your family collage in your chosen style, with the family tree woven into the artwork. Still deeply personal and history-rich—ready to print and display. Every piece is custom-made using the family details and photographs you provide. Whether for your home, a gift, or a legacy to pass on, these portraits tell your story in a truly unforgettable way. Very soon I will offering a new version of family tree portraits!

I am exploring producing digital versions of my designs and artwork of your unique family trees.

The portraits will be designed the very same way, creating a collage of images relating to your ancestors; such as your family home, father's occupation, an image of your grandfather's insignia of the battalion he served under, a church where your ancestors where baptised or married, the posibilities are endless as it is up to you what you would like...
All of this then beautifully overlayed with your own family tree.

The portraits can then be produced in 3 different ways to suit your own budget:
Digitally produced in the style of your choice as an emailed version for you to even print off at your own leisure
Digitally produced in the style of your choice and professionally printed and despatched
Hand drawn pencil sketched versions as my previous offerings

I am working on this right now and will soon have something to show you for this new idea.

Hi all, I've replaced my old email address for a new one
familytreeportraits1970@gmail.com.

I can now be contacted on email, WhatsApp, Messenger and mobile.

I am also looking at a new method to create my family tree portraits through digitally created and printed versions - the idea is to create these portraits at a significant price reduction!

These will be done by the same method as the hand drawn portraits, using customer supplied or researched images and family trees, but designed with monotone images merged into a collage with an overlaid family tree and printed instead of being hand drawn.

More details and prices to follow but let me know if anyone would be interested in this idea.
