Another busy morning at the Bereavement Cafe Mansfield

Hello! What an amazing morning Bereavement Cafe Mansfield the sun was shining (a bit) the trees are starting to blossom & the room was full of love, laughter & chatter. Thank you to everyone who came along. The wonderful Amy PoFfles for the cakes & sausage rolls. The staff Mansfield Crematorium & of course my fellow tea makers Cheryl Cooper Civil Celebrant Lives Celebrated - Mansfield funeral and wedding celebrant Wayne Swiffin & Phillip Dackombe - Celebrant. Next months cafe will be Tuesday 7th April because of Easter Monday. I’ve just got to Bramcote Crematorium & I’m watching a naughty squirrel who won’t sit still long enough for me to take a photo! If today feels heavy, please be gentle with yourself. There is no right or wrong way to feel. Love takes many forms, and remembering someone special is a meaningful expression of that love.

We anticipate a large number of vehicles onsite today between 12pm and 3pm.

Staff will be present in the car parks during this time to ensure smooth movement around the site.

🌷 As Mother’s Day approaches, we know this can be a tender time for many families.

We will be holding our annual Mother’s Day service, offering space for reflection, remembrance and connection.

All families are warmly welcome to attend, whether you wish to remember a mother, grandmother, or a loved one who held a mothering role in your life.

This service will be led by Steven Blakeley from A Wass Funeral Directors Ltd 🌷

As this week comes to a close, we pause to reflect on the love that continues beyond loss.

Grief can feel heavy, especially in quiet moments, but it is also a sign of deep connection and enduring love.

Moving into a new week, may you be kind to yourself, take strength from shared memories, and remember that love remains—steady, constant, and always part of you.

Today, we welcomed a beautiful classic coach from the 1960s, a reminder that every farewell can be as individual as the life it honours.

There is no single way to say goodbye. Each funeral we host has been carefully shaped around your loved one, reflecting their personality, values, beliefs, and the wishes of those who knew and loved them.

From music and readings to quiet moments of reflection or more personal touches, every service is bespoke, meaningful, and handled with care, dignity, and compassion.

Pedestrian access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Main gate opening times:
Monday–Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Weekends & Bank Holidays: 10:00am – 4:00pm
