We’ve had a day of pampering today 💅🏼

Here are a few of our ladies being pampered, I don’t think I’ll be opening my own salon anytime soon but Dawn said she felt like a new woman after having a wash and blow dry! 💆‍♀️

Brain teasing with word searches again this morning 🧠

Today we searched for words relating to birds, vintage toys and the Winter Olympics!

A huge thank you to everybody who attended our coffee morning on Saturday! 🧁☕️

We raised a lovely £51.95 which will go towards our residents activities fund! 🤩

I would love to make the coffee mornings a regular thing! If anybody has any thoughts on this, such as which day of the month would be best, timings etc, please do let me know 😀

We will be holding a Valentine’s get together on Sunday 15th February from 10:30am 🥰

The lovely Hilary will be joining us to sing some classic love songs 🎶

We hope you will be able to join us for a cuppa, cakes and a good old singalong! ❤️

We had so much fun, it was lovely to see so many smiles and so much positivity - mission accomplished! 😃

Thank you to the team who have worked so hard all day, and thank you to our lovely new home manager Tara for coming to spend some time with us and bringing lots of goodies! 🧁

Some balloon fun this morning! 🎈

Some residents gave feedback in our last residents meeting that they’d like to do things to keep them a bit more active!

We had loads of fun and laughs just batting and kicking the balloons to each other 😆

We’ve also been making some paper chains to add a bit more colour to the home! ❤️🧡💛🩵

Yesterday one of our seniors, Gemma, spent some 1 to 1 time with our residents, looking at the photos they have in their bedrooms and talking about the memories they bring ❤️

We are hosting a fundraising coffee morning on Saturday 31st January, from 10:45am.

Teas, coffees and cakes will be on sale to raise money for our residents activities fund, which helps us to provide more meaningful and person centered activities for our residents to improve their wellbeing and quality of life ❤️

This morning we did some seated exercises, Sheila and Julie love joining in whenever we do this although they don’t always take it too seriously 😆

This afternoon we’ve done some quizzing. One was about events in January throughout the years, then one about England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Fran an Summer were definitely our quiz masters today with 17 out of 20 correct! 👏🏼
