Life has a way of throwing absolute chaos your way sometimes… like a full-on brown, runny diarrhoea storm 💩🌪️
Tell me I’m not the only one?!
The last few months have felt like a bipolar rollercoaster 🎢
Life events - both beautiful and brutal - plus stress can be huge triggers for episodes. And lately, it’s been a lot:
🥹 A dear best friend facing a life-limiting diagnosis
🥹 My mum suffering a bad fall and breaking her hip
🥹 The loss of a true music legend
🥺 And in the middle of it all… moving house, decluttering has been unexpectetly cathartic
It’s been heavy ⛈️
But I’ve remained well… dig deep enough and every brown cloud does have a silver lining 🌥️
💜 My incredible friend continues to reframe life, spotting glimmers everywhere. His gratitude attitude is something truly special
💜 Mum is making a slow but steady recovery
💜 We celebrated a life in the most beautiful, glamorous way 💋
💜 Letting go, clearing space, starting fresh has been cleansing
And through it all, I’ve actually practiced what I coach:
A - Awareness: protecting my mental health wealth
B - Bridget Jones Moment: sitting with the emotions & having a proper ugly cry (thank you to a lovely client for this addition!)
B - Breathe: slowing down, pausing, taking time out
C - Choices: reminding myself I always have options
Life isn’t about avoiding the storms… it’s about learning how to move through them ✨
If you’re in your own storm right now, you’re not alone ❤️
