⛔ROAD CLOSURES FOR THE MANSFIELD 10K⛔

Please note, tomorrow (Sunday 14th September 2025) is the Mansfield 10K which means roads around us are being closed to facilitate this event.

If you are visiting us this Sunday, please ensure you plan your route around these closures and give yourself plenty of time for travel, finding parking and getting to us 5 - 10 minutes before your appointment time.

We always try and be flexible where possible however Please note, if you are more than 5 minutes late, we will not be able to scan you and you will need to book a new appointment with a new deposit.

Roads and proposed timings below:

8.30am to 10.05am: Church Street, Midworth Street
8.30am to 10.20am: St Peter’s Way, Chesterfield Road (northbound)
8.40am to 10.35am: Westfield Lane, Wood Street
8.40am to 10.40am: St John Street, Quaker Way, Union Street Walkden Street
8.40am to 10.45am: Rosemary Street (southbound)
8.45am to 11am Clumber Street.

You can still purchase our digital download of images package for £10 and have all your images sent over from your scan😍

We can also record the entire scan for an additional £10🥰**

Do you know why we ask you to attend your scan with a full bladder/to be well hydrated?💦

You need a full bladder for an early pregnancy (abdominal) ultrasound because the fluid helps to push the uterus and baby forward, creating a clear path for the ultrasound waves to travel through and produce a better image. The full bladder also acts as an "acoustic window" and provides a necessary contrast to identify the uterus and surrounding organs more clearly, especially before about 9-16 weeks of gestation.

If you require an internal scan (Transvaginal Scan), don't worry - we will ask you to empty your bladder ready for this scan to begin because with a Transvaginal Scan, you needs a empty bladder

This baby was very shy for their 1st 4D scan and had their hands in front of their face as you can see in picture 1🫣

So they came back for a rescan and felt much better about showing their cute little face as you can see from the rest of the images😍✨

Our 4D scans start from 24 - 32 weeks however we recommend the best time for them is 27 - 29 weeks👶

Hey Baby 4D in Mansfield offer early reassurance scans from just 8 weeks (4 weeks earlier than the NHS). Same-day appointments are available if you want to check on the progress and wellbeing of your pregnancy in those early days.
