Day 3 update 💚

Today went so fast I didn’t even realise it was 10pm.

Lots of follow-ups from yesterday, and new appointments booked in for next week, which is exciting. I’ve also had people from Chester getting in touch, so things are moving, even if I don’t have all the answers yet.

Still searching. Still figuring it out.

Today my long-term friend Jolanta invited me for a drink at Costa Coffee. We’ve known each other for 9 years, and because we both run businesses, we understand each other in a way not everyone does.

Running a business is hard work, and we can relate on many levels.

Jolanta is the kind of friend you don’t see often, but she always turns up for the moments that matter.

She was there when I opened my very first shop, starting with £1.50.
She was there when I opened a 3000 sqft warehouse.
She was there when I closed it.
And she was there for Gonk World.

And she was one of the first to message me now, asking if I need any help.

That’s the kind of friend you need.

It was really nice to just sit, talk, and catch up before we leave. I’ve also had a couple of close friends invite me for dinner. I’m not sure I’ll manage to see everyone, but I’ll do my best.
