Sometimes it’s helpful to do shadow work during sessions.
This is my shadow self and my happy feelings (modelling the process to the client) and as you can see, you definitely don’t need to be an artist!
When you see it in action, it can make it easier to understand how different parts of us hold different feelings and experiences.
Shadow work isn’t about getting rid of those darker parts, but about acknowledging them with curiosity and compassion so we can feel more whole, and begin to understand more about these parts of us and the feelings that they bring. 🌿
