What is MyoYin?
MyoYin is a therapeutic blend of myofascial release and Yin Yoga.
This practice combines self-massage techniques—using tools like massage balls or rollers to target the fascia—with long-held, passive yoga poses that work deeply into connective tissues.
The rolling techniques stimulate the fascia, improving circulation, reducing muscular tension, and enhancing tissue hydration. The sustained Yin postures then allow for gradual stress reduction in fascia and joints, promoting structural integrity and functional mobility.
A relaxed body supports a regulated nervous system and a calmer mind.
The body continuously reflects the state of the nervous system, offering real-time feedback on our internal experience. By working through physical tension, MyoYin creates space for greater emotional balance, mental clarity, and overall resilience.

Still some spaces for tonight, join us for 2 hours of Yin Yoga & a multi-instrumental journey into sound with crystal quartz bowls, a gong, chimes, drums, vocals and more. Floating home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
Tonight 6-8pm at The Town Hall Buildings (above the carlton cinema) Westgate.
A few weekend’s ago, I attended an assists workshop for yoga teachers—a great opportunity to deepen my understanding of safe, supportive, and intentional hands-on assists.
It was such a valuable experience to explore how physical touch can enhance connection, awareness, and embodiment in our students’ practice. Excited to integrate these tools into my teaching.✨

Delighted to be joining the gang at we are very lucky to have this amazing space and welcoming, vibrant community within the heart of Margate.
Come and unwind with me on a Monday night for a Nurture Flow Class 18.30 and Thursdays 12.30. It’s soooo good in the heat!
Nurturing Flow is a slower, deeper practice that moves through a more restorative and meditative sequence. With minimal standing postures, this floor-based flow combined with the heat, will cultivate space in both mind and body. Ideal for beginners, anyone working with injuries or those simply looking to slow things down.

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga in a union of body, mind and self care, it can help to improve balance, stability, flexibility, concentration , spatial awareness and strength. Yoga is also a wonderful way to increase children's co-ordination, self-awareness, confidence and self esteem while they stretch and strengthen their bodies in a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment.
Other than yoga there are no other forms of exercise that offers such a wide range of movements. While practising children’s yoga we bend forward and back, we twist and side bend, strengthen and stretch, balance and can even spend some time upside down! Unlike adult yoga children are not isolated to their own mats we use partner, group poses, cooperative games, self-expression and creativity to develop communication, teamwork, social skills and confidence…………. It is always more fun to do yoga together!
Zoe has trained with world renowned Yoga Alliance accredited Rainbow Kids Yoga and Yogamoves4kids which is certified by The Independent Yoga Network. Zoe is able to deliver yoga & mindfulness classes to pre-school age children, primary schools, tweens, teens, clubs, festivals, families and can also offer yoga birthday parties! Zoe is currently studying a Diploma in Hatha Yoga for adults and “Teen Yoga” with Charlotta Martinus. In spring 2020 Zoe will be undertaking training in “Special Yoga” enabling her to work more therapeutically with SEND children. Whilst Zoe has a passion for all things yoga she is also a qualified personal trainer specialising in children's health related fitness and well-being. Zoe has also worked for many years supporting and safeguarding children and young people in East Kent for KCC and independent organisations.
Nyla Yoga classes supports children in developing a healthy set of tools to better regulate their emotions and manage stress. We use various breathing techniques, yoga asana, guided meditations, mudras, imagery, positive affirmation mantras etc which are delivered age appropriately. We incorporate fun and creative, songs, props, games, music, stories, dance and drama allowing children to freely express themselves and improve mind- body connections.
Yoga is a great accompaniment to learning and an amazing antidote for the modern fast paced technological driven world our children find themselves in. Classes can be linked in to curricular projects, themes or topics, in fact yoga can be adapted as a mode of teaching and learning just about anything!
Children’s yoga fosters not only awareness of ourselves and our friends but creates a broader awareness of the world around us. But most importantly for children, yoga is fun! Nyla Yoga classes are completely non- religious and weave the elements of Hatha Yoga philosophy and the 8 limbs devised by the ancient Indian sage Pantanjali.
Zoe is also a mum to 5 year old twins who were born extremely premature and as a result have had development delays. Alongside physiotherapy yoga has really helped the children to improve gross motor skills, body awareness, balance, strength, concentration etc.
Starting yoga at an early age builds a solid foundation for positive long term health & wellbeing. Today's children find themselves growing up in challenging times, we aim to restore balance and harmony through the magic of yoga!
