We are delighted to have recently taken delivery of our new Mercedes E-Class Hearse and Limousine. The new fleet showcase the latest in design and technology , encompassing petrol hybrid engines, a panoramic glass roof, illuminated signs, and a sophisticated Vogue Grey deck.

As a proud, family-run funeral business established in 1887 these new vehicles will allow us to continue to serve our local communities into the future.

At Turner and Son we help to make your loved one’s final journey as personable as possible. Our funeral director Mark Belton recently helped this family organise a special postal van es**rt for this gentleman’s cortège! Many thanks to the Royal Mail staff who gave him a guard of honour as he passed the sorting office on his final round. 📮

Recently we used this fantastic Military Landrover Hearse from the team at Hire a Landi. The Landrover saw active service before being converted into a ceremonial vehicle , adorned here with the badging of the Royal Corps of Transport to reflect the gentleman’s regiment! We were more than happy to help organise this special convoy for his final journey 🇬🇧

We had a very special es**rt vehicle this week 🚛! This vintage lorry from Knowles Transport helped us create a unique convoy for a gentleman who had worked for the company for many years. We would like to say a special thanks to all of the staff at Knowles who provided a guard of honour at their Wimblington depot.

This weekend our Christmas Tree is on display at St Peter’s Christmas tree festival 🎄 , we are very proud to have supported this event every year since it started. Please come visit our tree “Send me a sign “ and leave a white feather with a message for a loved one on its branches , after the festival our tree will be on display in our reception. Seasons greetings to everyone , once again we will be here to care and support all our families throughout this festive period at their time of need ❤️

The count down is now on come along to Fenland Crematorium this Saturday at 14:00 for a service remembering those we hold dear.
Reverend Andrew, rector of March and Independent Celebrant Lisa Felstead will be leading our service with poems from Mark Belton of & Son Independent Family Funeral Directors and Dena Moy, carols sung by you with accompaniment organist James Trundel. Complimentary mince pies, tea, coffee and biscuits.
