May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month – highlighting one of the 10 most common cancers in the UK. It affects all ages, both men and women, with almost three quarters of cases occurring in men.

You might notice blood in your urine just once, or many times. It could be a tiny spot, a few streaks, or it might change the colour of your urine completely.

However it appears, blood in your urine isn’t normal and should always be checked by your GP.
