We were delighted to invite All Saints School in for a half term breakfast today, the room was filled with smiles & laughter ❤️

It was great to have so many keen to stay for our stitch and socialise, giving crochet and macrame a go with Teacher Louise 🧶

What a fantastic Wednesday we had at Aria Court for our Generation Games! 🎉 It was so special to welcome staff members’ children into our home to spend quality time with our wonderful residents for an morning packed with fun, laughter and togetherness.😊

There was something for everyone to enjoy – from friendly (and slightly competitive) table tennis matches 🏓 tasting delicious homemade pancakes 🥞, getting creative with colouring 🖍️, and even planting seeds together ready for summer🌱. It was lovely to see little hands and wise hands working side by side, carefully planting and chatting as they did.

The room and garden were filled with smiles, stories and plenty of giggles as friendships blossomed across the generations. Days like these remind us just how important connection, community and shared experiences are. A truly heartwarming afternoon enjoyed by all 💛✨

Aria Court would like to say thanks to Erik & the rest of the catering team for providing us with the homemade pancakes, Marion for being such an amazing help and getting everyone involved in the gardening & to everyone who came and made it a special morning👏

🪴WHAT THE HAPPY POTTERS HAVE BEEN UP TO🪴

Throughout February our Happy Potters have been super busy and making the most of the brighter days ahead! The bulbs that were planted back in November have now been carefully split and replanted, ready to bloom beautifully again this year 🌷✨

We’ve also been sowing lots of summer bedding and vegetables using seeds collected last year – including green beans, onions, sweet williams, cosmos and asters 🌼🌿 It’s so special seeing last year’s seeds given a new life!

To celebrate Chinese New Year, residents enjoyed getting creative with Chinese mud painting 🎨🐉 and we also joined in with Generation Games, sharing lots of laughter and friendly competition ❤️

One of the highlights has been working with the children, helping them sow sunflower bedding for the summer, as well as pumpkin and courgette seeds 🌻🎃 It’s been wonderful bringing generations together through gardening.

Our Happy Potters also enjoyed our monthly visit to our local Veterans Club for lunch where there was plenty of good food, great company and lots of laughter shared around the table ❤️🍽️ To top it all off, one of our lucky Happy Potters even won a pack of sausages in the raffle – what a result! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to our Happy Potters CEO, Marion, who organised all of these fantastic activities and continues to inspire us all 🌟👏

🥖During Bread Week at Aria Court, a few of our talented residents rolled up their sleeves and enjoyed making delicious homemade bread from scratch! 🥖

They carefully measured out the ingredients, mixed them together, and took turns kneading the dough, sharing plenty of smiles and conversation along the way. 👩🏼‍🍳👨🏼‍🍳

The wonderful aroma filled the room as their hard work baked to perfection. Best of all, everyone had the chance to taste the fresh, warm bread afterward with some butter – a well-earned treat that made the experience even more special and satisfying for all involved.😋

✨ What an incredible day of Chinese New Year celebrations at Aria Court! 🎉

From Chinese mud painting and live music to Tai Chi and afternoon tea, our residents had an unforgettable time🧧🎶

This would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our amazing Lifestyle team, especially Sammi, our activity lead, who organised all of this! And thank you to Chris for being actively involved all day, and to Marion for her fantastic help with lunch ✨

Our Chinese New Year celebration continued with even more fun and relaxation! 🧧✨

After lunch, we welcomed eight ladies from the U3A group, who led a peaceful Tai Chi session for our residents. Some of our residents joined in to enjoy the calming movements and the connection to Chinese culture. 🧘‍♀️🌸

The festivities didn’t stop there! We finished the day with a delicious afternoon tea, featuring Chinese pancakes, spring rolls, and other festive treats—perfect for both Chinese New Year and Pancake Day! 🥞🍵

A big thank you to these ladies for sharing their knowledge and energy, and to everyone who made today so special! 💕

What a fantastic day celebrating Chinese New Year here at Aria Court! 🧧🎉

Our activities team started with some creative fun and led a Chinese mud painting session, where residents enjoyed painting their own masterpieces 🎨

Later, we gathered to enjoy a delicious three-course meal in the café, while Sarah and Beth’s live music on the flute and clarinet set the perfect tone for the celebration🎶

A big thank you to our catering team, especially Erik and Diane, along with the rest of the kitchen staff, for preparing such a wonderful feast. Your hard work made the day truly special! 🍽️

🎉 A Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea Turned Into a Party! 💃💕We had an unforgettable Valentine's Day celebration at Aria Court! 🎶

Our afternoon tea was filled with delicious treats and live music from Pops that had everyone tapping their feet and singing along! 🍰☕ What started as a cozy tea party quickly turned into a full-on Valentine’s celebration, with many of our residents dancing the afternoon away! 💃🕺

The atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much love as everyone celebrated, danced, and made memories to cherish ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and of course, to our amazing team for making this event so special! 🌹 A special thank you to Pops for the fantastic music, a big shoutout to Sammi for organising everything during the week, and to Paris and Marion for not only hosting but also encouraging our residents to hit the dance floor and making everything come together so perfectly yesterday! ⭐️

Yesterday, our residents and their loved ones were treated to a very special Valentine’s Date in our cozy café! 🌹✨

The cafe was transformed into a charming little romantic escape, with a Valentine’s menu inspired by classic films 🍽️🎬

Our residents and their partners enjoyed a delightful afternoon, sharing plenty of love💌

Such a lovely way to celebrate the season of love! ❤️

A special shout-out to our Lifestyles Team, especially Paris, who truly went above and beyond with organising our Valentine’s Day events today! 🌟 Also, a big thank you to Marion for your support – you were both fantastic as always!
