A very productive morning with our residents, coming together to stitch and socialise. It’s wonderful to see everyone so engaged and focused.

Stitching has many benefits for older people, helping to keep the brain active, improve concentration, and support fine motor skills. It also encourages conversation and connection, creating a calm and friendly atmosphere.

Well done to Sammi for taking the initiative to start something like this — it was great to see how much everyone enjoyed it. It was a very peaceful and relaxed morning filled with good company and a purposeful activity 💛

This last month, our residents, as part of the Happy Potters Club, worked together to make and put up beautiful decorations for Christmas🎅🏻

There was lots of creativity, teamwork, and festive cheer as everyone helped to bring the Christmas spirit to Aria Court ❤️

Our Happy Potters enjoyed their last monthly visit to the Veterans Club for their wonderful Christmas party. A lovely time was had by all!

🎉 Congratulations to Norman, Brigitte, and Wendy, who were lucky winners in the raffle!

We are really looking forward to welcoming the Veterans Club to Aria Court Care Home on 13 January, when they will be joining us here at Aria Court for lunch.

Yesterday, we took a trip to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular Show - sparking joy, excitement, and festivity. The vibrant performances, dazzling lights, and live music created a magical atmosphere that lifted everyone’s spirits and provided a much needed escape from daily routines. ✨ Our residents spoke about how it was such a wonderful day out and how much they enjoyed it.

For many, it was not just a show but a place they used to go with loved one’s which bought back many cherished memories for them.❤️

A huge thanks to the staff at Thursford for being so accommodating and welcoming 👏
