Plenty of brain power in action today at Oaklands 🧠✏️

Residents enjoyed several rounds of Hangman and the 9-letter word challenge — with Barbara impressively guessing one of the full words 👏

Residents kicked off the day with a few fun rounds of Tin Can Alley 🎯

To celebrate Vanilla Ice Cream Day, our mini ‘ice cream truck’ made the rounds — complete with music! Everyone picked their favourite flavours and toppings with big smiles all round. 🍦

Residents enjoyed a relaxed start to the day, followed by some fun afternoon quizzes and one-to-one time with Helen. Gill got creative with aqua painting, while Clare and Jean enjoyed a lovely chat together. 🎨💬

A new week began with upbeat morning exercises to the sounds of the Beach Boys. 🎶

Residents then had fun with a bean bag game, aiming for top scores. After lunch, rain kept the walking group indoors, so they exercised their minds instead with an alphabet game on the theme of food. 🧠🍎
