We’re delighted to introduce Becky, one of our wonderful Care Assistants!

Since joining the team, Becky has settled into life at Merceode Lodge brilliantly. She has quickly become a valued member of staff and is especially fantastic with our residents. Her warm personality, kindness, and attentive approach help create a happy and comfortable environment for everyone she supports.

Becky always takes the time to listen, share a smile, and ensures each resident feels respected and cared for. We’re so pleased to have her as part of our team!

It’s been a joy to share in the laughter, stories, and smiles that make you such an important part of our home. Your kindness and warmth brighten everyone’s day, and we are so grateful to celebrate this milestone with you. 💐✨

Oh what a beautiful morning it was on Wednesday. It may still be a tad chilly, but that didn’t stop our ladies wrapping up and enjoying a cuppa and a catch up! ☕️

✨ Self-care is so important for our wellbeing and helping us feel our very best.

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to our onsite hairdresser, leaving everyone feeling refreshed, pampered and full of smiles! 💇‍♀️

How fantastic that hairdressing is included as part of our all-inclusive package, making those little luxuries easily accessible for everyone. 💚

The afternoon continued with puzzles, word searches and plenty of chats, as we all shared how much we’re looking forward to spring and brighter days ahead. 🌷☀️

A perfect day filled with relaxation, friendship and feel-good moments here at Merceode Lodge. ✨

We received not one, but two beautiful hampers in recognition of all our hard work and dedication.

It’s so refreshing to be part of a company that truly values and appreciates its team members.

🐾 We had a very special visitor to Merceode Lodge yesterday! 🐾

Matilda, a beautiful 5-year-old Newfoundland, and her proud owner Matthew, paid a heart-warming visit to our residents, and what a wonderful afternoon it was! 💚

Known as gentle giants, Matilda certainly lived up to her reputation. Her calm nature, soft fur and affectionate personality brought so many smiles, cuddles and lovely moments for everyone. 🥰

Animal visits are so meaningful for our residents, often bringing back treasured memories and creating new ones too. Matilda made herself right at home, and we think she has already made lots of new friends here at Merceode Lodge!

Thank you Matthew and Matilda! We can’t wait to welcome you both back again soon. 🐕

Friendship is so important to us all! 💚

It truly warms our hearts to see our residents welcoming their first visitors to Merceode Lodge. Seeing smiles, hearing laughter and watching special moments being shared, reminds us what really matters.

⭐We were absolutely delighted to welcome an incredible 258 people to our Grand Opening on Valentine’s Day. The turnout exceeded all expectations, and it was so special to share our beautiful home with so many members of the local community. ⭐

From the ribbon cutting with our VIP guests: Councillor John Sleep (NFDC) and Councillor Richard Young, to the live music, magic tricks, wellbeing treatments, home tours, and raffle, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, singing and dancing. 😊

Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us. Everyone from our nominated charity Waterside Gateway Club. With special thanks to Bob at Marchwood Men's Shed for our beautiful bird table for our residents to enjoy in our gardens. The children at Twiggs Lane Preschool , who presented us with a Valentines Messages of Love board for our residents and Peaceful Pathways Dorset - Jane Scanlan for bringing her calming wellness treatments.

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible Merceode Lodge Team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create such a memorable day. I am so proud of you all. ✨

This is just the beginning of something very special here at Merceode Lodge, and we look forward to welcoming many of you back soon.
