We love our home, it’s such a beautiful place to be🏡 🌺. We’ve been super busy this week with all sorts of activities, keeping residents entertained and showing some new prospective residents around (whilst enjoying lunch too, of course!) 🍽️🍾👀. Our memories are so special and we just love being here more and more every day 🥰

At Crystal Care Collection, we truly believe our staff are family, and when you join one home, you become part of the whole family across all our homes. 💙

A huge thank you to our Senior Care Assistant, Lucy, who may be new to her role, but has already made such a positive impact. Not only has she been a fantastic support within her own home, but she has also gone above and beyond to support our other local home in Southampton.

Your compassion, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Lucy, for everything you do and for the kindness and support you provide to both residents and colleagues every single day. 🌟

A huge congratulations to Caroline, our Deputy Care Manager, for her continuous support, dedication, and for always being amazing with both staff and residents. A special thank you for all the incredible effort and hard work you put into making our VE Day celebrations such a success.. Your commitment never goes unnoticed!

Also, a very well deserved congratulations to Sarah, our Laundry Assistant, for being a ray of sunshine, bringing a positive upbeat attitude into our home every day. Your attitude, hard work and dedication are truly appreciated and make such a difference to everyone at the home.

We were delighted to welcome Carol & Louine from Age Concern New Forest to Merceode Lodge today! 💚

They met with our General Manager Helen and newly appointed Customer Relationship Manager Chloe, to discuss ways they can work together in the future.

Age Concern New Forest is an independent local charity providing support for older people aged 55+, along with their families and carers across the New Forest area.

We look forward to building a positive relationship together and exploring how we can support the fantastic work they do within our local community. ✨

It’s been a wonderfully creative couple of days at Merceode Lodge! 🌸🎂

Our residents have enjoyed flower arranging and cake decorating, bringing back treasured memories and hobbies they loved doing at home. Activities like these are so important in supporting wellbeing, independence and meaningful connection; while also creating lots of laughter along the way. 💜

It has been lovely to see our ladies sharing their skills, creativity and enjoying time together. ✨

We were absolutely delighted to welcome our lovely Marian back to Merceode Lodge last Sunday to celebrate her special birthday with us! 🎉💜

Marian enjoyed a beautiful birthday lunch surrounded by smiles, laughter and friendship, topped off with a fantastic birthday cake lovingly prepared by our talented team 🎂✨

It was so lovely to see Marian again and celebrate such a special occasion together. Moments like these truly mean so much to everyone at Merceode Lodge 🥰

Yesterday, our General Manager Helen joined around 650 people to take part in the Oakhaven Trust Charity Walk 2026! 👟💜

Thankfully, the rain held off and Helen successfully completed the course, raising £425 for the Trust. Whilst the final total for the 2026 walk is yet to be fully confirmed, organizers expressed hope that it would exceed the previous year's record of over £170,000. An incredible achievement!

Helen said: “I was delighted to raise funds and awareness for such a worthwhile cause. Merceode Lodge already supports Oakhaven Hospice with local leaflet drops, and we look forward to supporting with more fundraising in the future.”

A huge well done to everyone who took part and supported the event 👏✨
