Thereâs nothing more soothing than resting our weary heads on something. A loved oneâs shoulders, a pillow, or a nice sturdy bolster at your fave yoga studio đĽ°
Next week we are delighted to be hosting Eliza, founder of who will be guiding us through 2 hours of deeply nurturing restorative yoga, yoga Nidra & sound bathing.
Restorative Yoga is unique in that its whole intention is to minimise stress on the entire system, which makes in entirely unique to any other yoga practice. Most Hatha (physical) yoga styles have a general nature of creating various degrees of tension to encourage release, increased circulation, strength, suppleness and so forthâŚ
Restorative yoga is a practice of full surrender. It is the antidote to a culture that celebrates âoptimalâ this and âmaximizeâ that. Productivity over rest, and the loudest and biggest means the best.
Restorative yoga is a rebellion against these deeply entrenched ideas of what it is to be a happy healthy human, in a world where adrenal fatigue, burnout, hormone imbalance, autoimmune disease and exhaustion are becoming normalised.
If you are in need of some deep relaxation, come and rest your weary head with long held fully support low impact postures, guided relaxation and gentle sound bowls
all welcome
