Today’s festive afternoon at Sandmere was nothing short of magical! Our kitchen team truly outdid themselves, serving up a wonderful selection of festive treats, including mince pies, mulled wine, chocolate cupcakes, and a refreshing glass of Buck’s Fizz. Alongside this, the sweet stall was a huge hit, offering a classic selection of old-school sweets that were thoroughly enjoyed by both residents and staff alike.
Adding to the festive cheer was our fantastic entertainer, Kelly, who kept everyone smiling with hours of singing all the Christmas favourites, sprinkled with some memorable classics that had everyone joining in. The atmosphere was full of laughter, warmth, and Christmas spirit, and residents had a truly lovely time.
The icing on the cake was a special visit from the Mayor of Margate, which made an already successful afternoon even more special.
