Spent some time with my great niece and nephew with the fascia release balls. We started with a little breath work to calm their para-sympathetic nervous systems and did some gentle movement on the balls.
It was magical to see how their minds and bodies started to calm, slow down and relax.
Studies show that releasing fascia in children has a calming affect on the nervous system. It can also help with sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, and anxiety by helping the child’s body leave a “fight-or-flight”.
