I'm excited to say after Easter I will be offering Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage with the use of Wood Madero Therapy tools.
Whilst it is a type of Lymphatic drainage it is not your standard method of draining the Lymph. It used deep dynamic movement's to contour the muscles and encourage blood flow which in turn aids in Lymph flow. The Wooden Madero Therapy tools are used to break down fat deposits, improve circulation and promote overall well-being.

As an opening offer I am offering 2 hours for the price of 90 minutes £75 - saving £10. Offer valid until the end of May please see below for details.

Experience a revitalizing journey with this Brazilian lymphatic drainage combined with Maderotherapy. This specialized, non-invasive treatment blends vigorous manual massage with uniquely crafted wooden tools to effectively stimulate your lymphatic system. Say goodbye to fluid retention while reshaping and contouring areas such as the thighs and abdomen, all while helping to reduce cellulite for smoother skin.

During this 2-hour session, enjoy a full-body lymphatic drainage massage that includes facial lymph drainage and a soothing facial massage, ensuring a comprehensive beauty treatment that leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

review from my practice clients -

So Saturday afternoon I got home and I fell asleep from 4pm - 8pm, it was a very deep sleep which was lovely. Woke up for a couple of hours and then had a long solid nights sleep (I can’t remember the last time I did that!) on Sunday I felt a little bit achy but in a good way like I’d rediscovered some muscles following exercise. Slept amazingly again. My digestion has been so much better, back to being regular again

Last September, I was contacted by a lady asking if I could help with her lymphoedema. After discussing her situation, I realised that my qualifications at the time were not yet at the level needed to support her properly, so I referred her to a specialist.
Fast forward to last week—after months of additional training—I invited her back to put my new skills to the test.
A little background: she was diagnosed with melanoma in her leg and underwent surgery to remove it, along with several lymph nodes. Unfortunately, this led to complications including a large seroma, infection, and lymphoedema.
During her session, I carried out a full-body treatment, with particular focus on the affected leg. Even during the treatment, I could visibly see a reduction in the swelling, and she reported tingling sensations throughout her body.
Here is her feedback…

Morning Claire I wanted to thank you for the fantastic lymph massage. I think I had lymph blocked where I didn't know I had lymph!
Your care and attention was 100%
I have actually managed to get compression garments on!
Please book me back in.

✨ **Why Lymphatic Drainage Massage?**

Your lymphatic system plays a key role in removing toxins, reducing inflammation, and supporting your immune system. When it becomes sluggish, fluid retention, swelling, and fatigue can occur.

💆‍♀️ **Benefits of Lymphatic Drainage Massage**
• Reduces fluid retention and bloating
• Supports the body’s natural detoxification process
• Improves circulation and immune function
• Helps reduce swelling and inflammation
• Promotes relaxation and overall wellbeing

🏥 **Pre-Operative Lymphatic Drainage**
Preparing the body before surgery can support better healing. Benefits may include:
• Stimulating lymph flow before surgery
• Reducing inflammation and fluid build-up
• Supporting the immune system
• Helping the body prepare for recovery

💫 **Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage**
After surgery, gentle lymphatic drainage can support the healing process by:
• Reducing swelling and fluid retention
• Helping the body eliminate excess fluids and waste
• Supporting faster recovery
• Improving comfort and mobility
• Helping soften scar tissue and reduce fibrosis

🌿 A gentle, therapeutic treatment designed to support your body’s natural healing and recovery process.

*Always consult with your healthcare provider before receiving post-operative treatments.*

When booking Lymphatic Drainage you should remember…
Lymphatic drainage is not your typical massage. It uses very light, gentle pressure rather than deep or firm techniques.
The therapist stimulates lymph nodes using gentle pumping and circular movements. After this, the lymphatic vessels are encouraged to move fluid using light rhythmic strokes that stretch the skin.
These movements help guide lymph through the vessels towards the next lymph node.
If deep or firm pressure is used, the therapist may compress the tiny lymphatic vessels, which can reduce lymph flow.
You can imagine lymphatic vessels like soft tubes just beneath the skin — too much pressure can flatten them.
Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system does not have a central pump like the heart. Instead, lymph moves through small contractions in the vessel walls and is helped along by muscle movement and breathing.
This is why if you are sedentary for long periods your lymphatic system may become sluggish.
You can support your lymphatic system by moving regularly and practicing diaphragmatic breathing.

It’s been a busy few months.
I am super pleased to say this weeend I finished my training in lymphatic drainage for pre and post operative surgery. This means I can give lymphatic drainage to someone as soon as 3 days after surgery- with the surgeons approval.
This is for any surgery not just for cancer patients ( obviously assuming there are no contra-indications)
I will be giving more information on why the lymph is so important soon but for now my brain needs a little rest 🤣 but if you have any questions please do feel free to contact me.

I did it!

I truly loved completing this course.
At the end of last year, I undertook a separate course focused on caring for clients with cancer and life-limiting conditions. While it was beneficial, I didn’t feel I had gained the depth of knowledge I was hoping for. I continued to build my understanding through further reading, yet still felt there was more to learn.
After researching my options, I discovered this wonderful London-based school offering an intensive three-day course, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The tutors were exceptional — knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The course content went far beyond what I had hoped for.
The training covered a wide range of valuable techniques, including working with scar tissue, gentle touch therapy for clients who need comfort and care rather than deep massage, and approaches for treating neuropathy, alongside so much more.

All settled into my hotel in London ready to start my 3 day in-house oncology training from tomorrow.
I am so excited as this is such an amazing comprehensive course. Not only will I be learning about the biology of cancer and how it metastasises, we will also be finding out about the medical treatments available and side effects they may cause and the effects of surgery and lymphatic procedures used in massage treatments.
Plus I will also be performing treatments on clients who currently are under going cancer treatment and learning how to adapt treatments and choose the correct product’s.
This follows already having completed a more theory online based course.
I look forward to being fully qualified to help those finding themselves in the horrible position where they may need it.

If you haven’t tried the Japanese head Spa at Restore yet I highly recommend it….here is my review

Last week I finally went to try the Japanese head Spa at Restore and it was so worth the wait.
The room was gorgeous as usual and Gina was her normal lovely self, we started with a scalp analysis which was very interesting.
My hair was washed and massaged more times than I could count, the water from the rainbow shower felt like raindrops and made all my nerve endings tingle. I had the Diamond package so also received a lovely facial.
My favourite part of the treatment was when I had a the steamer over my head and my feet were being massaged at the same time, the smells were incredible and it was just so luxurious.
After I washed the mask out the next day my hair felt so soft and smelt so good. My scalp had been massaged so much all the tension had been released from my head.
Nearly a week later my hair is still felling softer and even my split ends feel better!
What a treat!!!
I will definitely be back and highly recommend everyone give it a try. ❤️
