Thanks to all the lovely Parents, Grandparents, Carers & relatives who attend these sessions and have shared their fab pictures I have been able to put together a video for you to see through their eyes of what they experience at Sensory Stay & Play.
These sessions are £5 pay as you go each Wednesday. Once you have booked on, your place will roll over weekly until you cancel. Don’t worry though you are not expected to come every week as I know life can be busy and unpredictable especially with little ones!
For the safety of the little ones there are two sessions. 10.30am for pre-crawlers and 12.30pm for crawlers plus. Each session is an hour long.
There are lots of different stations and activities to explore all of babies 5 senses!
⭐️ Sight - The session starts with the lights on to help you and baby relax into the room. After we have sang some songs and explored the room a little the lights are turned down for you to explore all of the lights around the room including the dark tents with different things to explore.
⭐️ Hearing - There is different music played to help explore all the different sounds. Everything from nature sounds to lullaby’s. There are also some musical instruments for baby to play to make their own sounds.
⭐️ Taste - There is a taste station where you can help baby explore their sense of taste. Depending on their stage of development you can either treat them to a slice of fruit or their are different baby purée’s to try each week.
⭐️ Smell - There are a wide variety of different sent bottles to explore with baby. Simple pop a few drops onto a cotton ball and waft it under baby’s nose. They may even be some smells that are new to you too.
⭐️ Touch - In the room there are lots of areas with different things for baby to experience the touch and feel of different textures.
These are just some of the fun things to experience. There is also a paint table where we can create some masterpieces with tiny hands and feet as well as a play station filled with lots of different toys to play with. The bubbles and parachute are also loved by the little ones.
Not only are the sessions a great way for babies to socialise they are also a great place for you to meet and make some new friends too.
